Granville and I raise out bats to the grandstand as the 150 comes up for the ScoutCast. Fittingly, we choose to spend the milestone episode moaning about Diego Costa, for very different reasons.

Chelsea’s “agro magnet” dominates discussion on the eve of an expected three-match ban that will end my love affair with the grizzled goal-getter. Meanwhile, Granville is left smarting from Costa’s 16-point Gameweek 22 haul as he does his best to make light of the 59-point chasm that now separates our teams.

Elsewhere, we glide through the ScoutCast regulars, whilst taking time out to lament Kevin Mirallas and his latest bout of Baines-bullying that robbed us both of belated returns.

Count the cost via this link, or pay your dues via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Ok cool. Was going to suggest Tanzania since you can then hop over to combine the Safari trip with a visit to Zanzibar. I met Dutch people from Rotterdam a couple of years ago that did it. They had fun.

Enjoy the planning. That's always the fun part.

I've been there twice. You just get a yellow fever injection that lasts for 10 yrs and then to get a malaria tablet to drink once a day. No side effects.

                      Sorted.

Yellow fever not an issue but malaria strains are more unpredictable. Be so careful about taking the pills exactly as prescribed and hope the malaria type is not immune to the medication

I must admit, the worse mozzie bite I ever had was around 6am in the morning on Zanzibar while taking pics of the sunrise on the beach in front of our hotel.

It was like someone was putting out his cigarette on my arm!

At the moment, very little. Sounds ultimately pessimistic but:
Poaching at an all time high and no real budget to stop it.
Rolling electricity blackouts disrupting the economy big time.
Kids at school have no books because of corruption.
Hospitals are so bad you fear for your life to be booked in. (Unless rich)
Getting a letter from the post office a real luck.
Rand dropping like a stone.(Good for visitors though)
Traffic cops sticking guns to a 3 year olds head to force a traffic bribe from mother.
Strikes continuous so hard to earn a living.
              Water shortages.
              Taxation not covering the fiscus.
I can go on but that is why I sound like doom and gloom.

Nelson died this year; bad news.
Rugby doesn't put food on the table but good anyway.
                    A strange slant on democracy.
Wine farms good for a day out
We are about to get junk status on the Rand.

I do take your point though. it is my home.

I am from South Africa. I spend time in Kenya and Botswana. Don't do a package you will get ripped off. Kruger a bit of a shambles. Kenya OK but traffic getting there and back horrible. SA and Botswana cheapest. Okavango good but basic. Private game lodges great in SA but bloody expensive. 10 years ago safaris great. Now I would go to a zoo.

Don't want to lose Sanchez since I have too much money tired on him.

You have a good team but not sure about Rooney and ADM double up. One ManU attack is more than enough imo.

I was about to bench Terry as well then i found these stats:

Chelsea kept 15 CS's in their last 18 BPL games at home
Mourinho vs. Big five: Played 22; Won 17; Draw 5; Lost 0; Goals scored 40; conceded 5

        Stats mean nothing.

How many of those 15 CS at home have came after a 120 minute game midweek against one of the big teams in England? They are also playing a City team that are known for scoring goals.

The way I see it is, If Chelsea keep a CS against City, I would be surprised. If West brom keep a CS against Spurs, I wouldn't be surprised.

    Pantimillon, Krul

He's the best player of Arsenal. Arguably the best player in the league. He will start every game when he's fit

                  Your call bro

yeah but the point is if I think that Sanchez + player A + player B will give fewer points than Wally/Caz + player C + player D then it doesn't matter..Sanchez's points aren't worth more or more special simply because he got them. opportunity cost! 🙂

U should only sell sanchez if he is out more than 2 weeks. He is a machine and best player so far this year

yeah but I think that with all of Arsene's midfield options returning to the fold, Sanchez won't have to put the team on his back..will still be good but could easily produce less that translates to FPL..

look at early season when he was doing nothing..yeah part of that was that adapting to the team and league but it was also with a mostly fit midfield (and actually no Wally even)

Not sure whether to take a hit before a WC...have 1FT

    panti
pva terry clichy --- naylor yun*
hazard sterling adm sanchez --- siggy*
    kun kane austin

A: naylor >> bellerin..and start him over clichy..then even if sanchez doesnt start, will have clichy to come off bench

B: siggy >> AJ as a 1 week punt..problem is then diff feels weak with clichy/terry both in team

C: siggy + naylor >> AJ + bellerin (-4) // Moses + P.jones (-4)...both decent options, sorts out the mid and def problem

B but to someone other than AJ

C with Moses & P Jones. Nailed on, good fix. No need to worry about taking a hit before WC. If you're rewarded instantly you'll be laughing.

Initial plan was to just do A but sanchez injury has changed that...

Dont see how a hit can pay off (that too for a def) in 1 gw...B seems the most logical thing imo

      i would think that pjones/belerrin (-4)

Not really. Wenger might bring him on later cause of his defensive work rate

Can't agree. Any type of injury will keep him out, especially against Villa.

Probably Sanchez (C), Giroud (VC) (assuming Costa is suspended).

This. Zaba didn't work out as planned (apart from his 11 point haul, which was nice).

Kompany hasn't been that solid anyways, doubt he would have made much of a difference..
