Granville and I raise out bats to the grandstand as the 150 comes up for the ScoutCast. Fittingly, we choose to spend the milestone episode moaning about Diego Costa, for very different reasons.

Chelsea’s “agro magnet” dominates discussion on the eve of an expected three-match ban that will end my love affair with the grizzled goal-getter. Meanwhile, Granville is left smarting from Costa’s 16-point Gameweek 22 haul as he does his best to make light of the 59-point chasm that now separates our teams.

Elsewhere, we glide through the ScoutCast regulars, whilst taking time out to lament Kevin Mirallas and his latest bout of Baines-bullying that robbed us both of belated returns.

Count the cost via this link, or pay your dues via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

this sanchez injury doubt really has messed things up, I was so sure on ADM and Sanchez and Giroud but now with sanchez possibly being out I am not sure whether to take ADM out (whos form isn't the best) and replace him with oooooooooooh Santi Cazorrrrrrlaaa

The only reason Spurs and QPR have a DGW28 is because both are out of the FA Cup. The quarter finals are on March 7, so if Leicester beat Villa in the 5th round then it's impossible.

Random WC team that I've thrown together.. Any thoughts? Going with Moses over Boyd as he covers possible Sanchez out better..

    Ospina
Clyne - Jones - van Aanholt
Hazard - Sanchez - Walcott - Di Maria
    Austin - Aguero - Kane

    Krul - Moses - Wollscheid - Wisdom

    Krul/Pant
    Wisdom, Kos, Jones, Bertrand, Wollschied
    Sanchez, Hazard, ADM, Puncheon, Boyd
    Kane, Aguero, Giroud

Rojo played full 90 against Cambridge while Shaw played four. Logical to go with Shaw since he didn't play as much or go with the full 90 performance from Rojo?

          • 14 Years

Rojo's rarely going to play left back, he's going to play CB alongside Jones in a 4-4-2 or as the LCB with 3 at the back.. He's not competing with Shaw, Blind and Shaw are more likely to compete at LB/LWB.

    2. Make United Great Again
      • 13 Years

Both most likely. Wouldn't be surprised is Blind got the nod at LB though.

If we're playing with 3 CB's then yes, even with a new CB Jones will be nailed on imo. Jones New Lad Rojo.

But if we're playing 2 centre backs, then I'm not quite sure as to who LVG prefers. And as for the Hummels rumours...who knows. We're definitely looking for a centre back in summer. Hope it's him!

Completely concur with that quote.... Discussed yesterday, but they have enough cover to rest him

Was always going to go with Koscielny once I WC'd but at 5.9 surely it makes no sense to take him when Ospina's 4.8.. Bellerin also at 4.4 but to a lesser extent because of the possible Chambers threat..?

I'm still not convinced on Ospina either, one slip up and he's out

Neither are guaranteed first team, Kos is nailed when fit, other two are solid short term options
