Granville and I raise out bats to the grandstand as the 150 comes up for the ScoutCast. Fittingly, we choose to spend the milestone episode moaning about Diego Costa, for very different reasons.

Chelsea’s “agro magnet” dominates discussion on the eve of an expected three-match ban that will end my love affair with the grizzled goal-getter. Meanwhile, Granville is left smarting from Costa’s 16-point Gameweek 22 haul as he does his best to make light of the 59-point chasm that now separates our teams.

Elsewhere, we glide through the ScoutCast regulars, whilst taking time out to lament Kevin Mirallas and his latest bout of Baines-bullying that robbed us both of belated returns.

Count the cost via this link, or pay your dues via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Just had a creepy nightmare which after a few google sessions turns out to be 'sleep paralysis'

Anybody else know what I'm talking about here?

Yeah. Think it happens when some parts of your brain wake up before others or something weird. Kind of unsettling

Nothing to be worried about, I mainly think I'm dreaming so doesn't bother me too much.

Same here, some people that do it intentionally seem to go through sleep paralysis before they enter a state of lucid dreaming

From what I gather when you fall asleep a form of paralysis is induced to prevent you hurting yourself or pretty much acting out your dreams and usually it goes before you wake up. (sleepwalkers seem to lack this). It sounds pretty similar to locked in syndrome

It's like I "wake up", in my room, and look around and perhaps see some people coming to get me.
And I'm all frozen, not able to do anything, and then I freak out and actually wake up.

Happened a few times, but some time since the last time..

It's an interesting experience that's for sure.

It happens when your mind wakes up before your body. When your sleeping, your body puts itself into a paralysis to avoid you flailing your arms around and what not when dreaming. This is just you waking up before your body has 'turned on'

Looking for an interesting pick, something that might possibly pay off. He's supposedly fatigued but with some okay fixtures in the next 3 he could net. 9 goals in 636 minutes is really impressive...

But his fixtures turn to muck afterwards.

    Pantilimon
    Koscielny Azpilicueta Fonte

Thought about Pelle but Kane is doing alright...

I think Giroud is a great striker. Great header of the ball. Brilliant at those near post, first time finishes. Good awareness of space too.

It amazes me how you call him a donkey all the time and yet you're such a big fan of Welbeck, who is clearly crap.

He's a weird one because at times he makes the difficult look so simple but then at others he swings and whiffs at the simplest of chances.

Well put. Giroud certainly is capable of those fresh air shots. But the very fact that he CAN make those difficult finishes look so simple surely points to the fact that he's got a really innate talent.
                  Something I feel Welbeck lacks.

No doubt. He's far better than Welbeck, who has always gone into panic in front of goal. His touch is consistently better than Welbeck's as well, who is very inconsistent overall. If Welbeck could put it all together he'd be special but it will never happen.

I agree..he's a great player of his type. He's not really an out and out striker though, he's a bit rubbish at finishing sometimes in fact. Not many peers at holding the ball for some of those mids though, he's good at that for sure...

You may have to revise that opinion. Giroud's pass completion ...

Respectfully. I feel you rely far too much on statistics and tables.
Especially when you are putting forward a response in a discussion.
In my opinion, people that explain, in words, what they feel about a player and how he plays is much more interesting and enlightening.

Costa a differential for the 1st time this season. I don't have him but tempted to bring him in.

Keep Austin or go for Defoe on a WC?

    Bought Austin @ 6.0

defoe for me. Makkams need goals and no-one else can do anything there, plus nice fixtures

I'd take a risk and go with Defoe. If Poyet persists with this 352 he should get some chances.

    What about Austin?

    Is this punty enough?

    Forster foster
    Clyne muniesa jones wisdom 4.3
    sanchez oscar adm chadli walters
    defoe sturridge aguero

feels a bit safe but then i look again and it's got some random diffs in it

Yes and I quite like it. I only went for two Chelsea but you've outdone me, sir. And it's Oscar too which in itself is punty.

Have to say I don't like Walters though. Not sure Muniesa is nailed on either

Just couldn't afford chelsea and Studge!!!

re Muniesa, i was shocked he'd played 90 in 5 of the last 6.
Walters only in due to Bojan out so potential OOP, but he'll be starting on a final written warning - one screw up and he's out

Would appreciate thoughts on this wildcard team. I have a pretty poor rank 250,000 so thinking I should gamble a bit.

    Guznan/Panti
    Jones/Bellerin/Clyne/Baird/Dummet
    Fabregas/Hazard/Walcott/Puncheon/Boyd
    Rooney/Giroud/Kane

5.0 ITB for some combination of aguero/studge/sanchez when form dictates

I´m getting rid of ADM fwiw. United not scoring a single goal against a league two club is enough for me.
