Welcome to this week’s Scout Picks Community Champion vote. Here’s a reminder of how this works. As part of our revamped Scout Picks, Mark, myself, Paul and a community champion picked by you each week are up against each other. All four teams are then used to decide our final weekly Scout Picks.

We are now looking for Gameweek 24’s Scout Picks Community Champion to represent you and get one over on The Scouts as well as be in with a chance of winning a special prize. The champion who manages the best Gameweek score (or best score from the first ten matches in a double Gameweek) will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

To put yourself forward simply add in your Gameweek 24 Scout Picks. Foreveryone else please upvote the poster you would like to represent you based on their picks.

We only need 11 picks and please be mindful of budget, which has now been increased to 84m. There’s no captain in the picks either and please stick to a designated FPL formation, including no more than three players from one team.

I’ll leave this vote open until 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) when I will announce the winner, who I will then ask to send over his/her final picks plus a 200 word explanation to me at jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk by 5pm Thursday January 29.

Any attempts to disrupt the voting process may lead to the team involved being removed at our discretion. Also the comment section below is for those who want to present their teams and vote. If you have any suggestions on how the Scout Picks can be improved further next year please email me rather than leave a comment below.

Congratulations to Gameweek 23’s Community Champion Innsie, who beat one of the scouts and secured the highest Gameweek score of our champions so far. He is now in prime position to win a £100 Amazon voucher.

Best score in first 10 matches during a double though, so still going to take a monster week to beat Innsie - who incidentally scrapes into the lead by a single point.

Absolute prime example of why the prize next year should be the community reps performance in relation to the scouts.

This way massively skews the results towards whoever was lucky enough to be the rep during a high scoring week.

Not taking anything away from Innsie obv, but you'd think the winner of the competition would beat all 3 scout picks at least (which some have already managed this season)

Kolorov and Zouma at the back is too risky for me. Walters just seems a week too late.

This is a tough week for playing the fixtures, but here are my picks, coming in at 84m exactly.

    Courtois (avl)
Kompany (HUL) - Terry (avl) - Naughton (SUN)
Silva (HUL) - Hazard (avl) - Cazorla (tot) - Sterling (eve)
Aguero (HUL) - Kane (ARS) - Gayle (lei)

Given that Hull have just lost 3-0 to Newcastle and West Ham, their trip to the Etihad looks the most reliable source of fantasy points this weekend. Kompany is the only player immune from rotation at the back, while Aguero and Silva will be at the centre of City's many attacks.

Doubling up on the Chelsea defence against a Villa side that haven't scored in 6 matches shouldn't require too much explanation. Given the way they capitulated at the Emirates, you'd also be mad to go without Chelsea's main man, Eden Hazard.

The North London and Merseyside derbies are difficult to predict, but I'm backing them to be as high scoring as they often are. Kane and Cazorla are both in irresistible form, whilst Sterling is putting in some consistent displays - the return of Sturridge against a improving but struggling Everton should spell goals.

My cheap enablers are Kyle Naughton, who came straight into the team at Southampton, in a game where Swansea reminded us of their solidity ahead of a home clash with Sunderland. Finally, I've plumped for Dwight Gayle at Leicester. He looked Palace's brightest spark once again in their last match, and I'd expect Pardew's side to bounce back and have a go at Nigel Pearson's wide open defence.

    Playing the fixtures

    Pantilimon (swa) {Loads of away saves}

Clichy (HUL) - looks quite attacking surprisingly, should be a cs
Terry (AVL) - villa can't score
PVA (swa) - Swansea struggling to score and playing wingback

Hazard (avl) - doubling up on Chelsea attack
Walcott (spurs) - just for the time being, he will play if sanchez is out (can change to santi/ozil)
Silva (HUL) - in good form this season
Puncheon (lei) - in an attacking team, cheap

    Aguero (HUL) - easy
Austin (SOT) - playing at home, qpr are desperate to win, soton conceded a few recently
Remy (avl) - will get some easy tap ins

    Team value 83.1

    ------------------- Hart --------------------

    ---------Azpi - PVA - wisdom-------

    Hazard - Cazorla - Silva - Walters

    ---- Aguero - Sturridge - Gayle ----

Hart (HUL) - Nailed on Man City Rearguard against an abysmal and injury ridden Hull

Azpi (avl) - Cheapest nailed on Chelsea defender against an toothless Aston Villa who have been trouble seeing the opponents half of the pitch

PVA (swa) - attacking defender for a team with good clean sheet capability. Siggy still banned for match

Wisdom (bur) - although they conceded last week to TOT, I think they will strengthen their back and come into the game more defensive than ever

Hazard (avl) - the focal point along with oscar against an Aston Villa side who just conceded 5 goals. also on pens

Cazorla (tot) - in the hole and in form, playing in the high scoring London Derby

Silva (HUL) - in form and playing behind the best striker in the league against an injury ridden and out of form Hull

Walters (new) - playing in the lone striker role and coming off the back of a nice hatty last week. Newcastle have been less resilient in the back than they were in the beginning of the season

Aguero (HUL) - the man I expect to see in all team, especially with this fixture. no explanation needed

Sturridge (eve) - His Cameo provided the second goal for Liverpool last week. we know when he plays , he scores. Evertons Defense has been horrible this season and they were lucky to get away with a clean sheet last gameweek

Gayle (lei) - In form and frankly was very unlucky not to continue his form last gameweek agaisnt everton. Goal line camera showed he was literally centimeters from adding to his tally

Thanks for reading and please vote 🙂

    Pantilimon(swa)

Terry (avl) - Kompany (HUL) - PvA (swa)

Hazard (avl) - Silva (HUL) - Cazorla (tot) - Mane (qpr)

Aguero (HUL) - Remy (avl) - Cisse (STO)

    TV 82.3

Panti - He is in good form, and Swa are without few key players... They were lucky to grab a goal vs SOT...
Terry - AVL scored just 11 goals this season, i dont see them score vs arguably best def in league---
Kompany - Hul dont score much away so Kompany is safe pick for this week...
PvA - Same as Panti, also he is attacking threat...
Hazard - Without Costa he is main threat in this Chelsea side...
Silva - Home to Hul, in nice form, main man in middle with Yaya gone...
Cazorla - Probably player in best form atm + on pens...
Mane - He was in great run before going to AFCON, last night he was main threat after entering the game... Can see him grad a goal or two vs awful qpr def...
Aguero - Home to Hul, enough said...
Remy - Grabed a goal vs City, can see him score few vs AVL too...
Cisse - This can be one of his explosive games...

Would love the chance to represent the community this week. Here's the team I'm putting forward.

    -----------------------------------Pants--------------------------------------
    ------------------------ Ivanovic Targett Wisdom--------------------------
    -------------------Silva Hazard Walters Puncheon----------------
    ------------------------- Giroud Sturridge Aguero --------------------------

    TV: 83.3

  14. Frank Black

    Foster (BUR)

Azpilicueta (AVL)- Terry (AVL) - Yoshida (QPR)

Silva (HUL) - Oscàr (AVL) - Cazorla (TOT)- Manè (QPR)

Aguero (HUL) - Sturridge (EVE) - Defoe (SWA)

    84

I chose Oscàr over Hazard because the highest number of points that Hazard has scored away from home has been 10 points against Southampton while Oscàr delivered 13 points against Palace away and 15 against Swansea. The price difference also allowed me to have a better defense and a better team overall.

    Hello all, Horse here.

    Krul, 4.4m
A first clean sheet for Carver could be the beginning of something. Walters did well but I don't see any member of Stoke's team repeating those heroics.

    Clyne, 5.9m.
He was very impressive yesterday, buccaneering along the flanks with plenty of crosses, QPR will really struggle.

    Demichelis, 5.9m
I would be really surprised if City concede this weekend, Hull have only scored in one game in the last 5 and look pathetic. As this is easy opposition, Clichy may get a rest, but I couldn't be 100%.

    Ivanovic, 7.2m.
I've gone big here. I don't see Terry needing to be getting forward for as many corners and free kicks due to the fact that this game should be wrapped up quite quickly. Instead I see Ivan whipping in crosses and feeding oncoming attackers.

    Silva, 9.4m.
He must surely be the best midfield option this week, in what should be a game full of City goals. 5 goals and 2 assists in his last 7.

    Shelvey, 5.2m.
With Siggy out, the budget midfielder was handed a role in the hole. Most of us were well aware of his shooting abilities, 2 beautifully struck shots were a reminder and against very tough defensive out fit. He should be even more involved against Sunderland.

    Hazard, 10.8m.
He is going to be an absolute nightmare for a team who are approaching a full blown break down, if that hasn't already happened. After conceding 5 last time out, expect another thrashing.

    Cazorla, 8.4m.
With Ozil and Wally back tricking here way through at high speed, there is the greatest threat so far for penalties. Couple that with his dashing runs and hawk eye forward passing, expect more good things from the cockatoo.

    Aguero, 12.7.
    Because.

    Remy, 7.2m
I have tripled up on Chelsea and City. Rey is simply looking the business, he is taking his chances when he gets pitch time.

    Gayle, 5m.
He is in good form and Leicester are looking leaky.

    Total = 82.1m
