These are difficult times for Granville. Sadly for him, his prediction that Diego Costa’s studs played into my hands along with Emre Can’s ankle proved correct – the Chelsea villain pushed me into a Gameweek 23 Wildcard and I cashed in.

It left Granville spitting feathers and 92-points behind but he remains defiant. Even with the millions draining from his squad via his active Wildcard, my resolute co-host is not giving up on keeping the season alive and the rivalry as bitter as ever.

We weigh up Granville’s latest options in his quest to close the gap: analysing the contest between Sturridge and Aguero for our place in our forward lines, check in on the fallout from the Sanchez injury, whilst wading through the usual regulars ahead of another Gameweek.

Pay your dues via this link or mark up the deficit via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    WC Team, good to go?

No Sterling/Coutinho and maybe could do with ADM instead of Silva seeing as I have Aguero.

3.4m in the bank for Caz>Sanchez with 0.4 leftover.

    Foster | Myhill
    Terry | Bellerin | PVA | Naughton | Zouma
    Hazard | Caz | Silva | Mane | Ameobi

Really similar to mine bar Naughton > Wisdom, Boyd > Walters

Agreed. Spurs's fixtures are hard too. Just go Coutinho/Sterling or maybe even Oscar if you think you can plan ahead for the blank.

i have no problem of losing value for sanchez even though i got him at 10.3..its the points that matter..but is it even worth it to spend 2ft taking him in and out?

ok there is a chance that he might start from bench against LEI which mean i will probably not get him back that very game..but are u going to get him back immediately if he starts against LEI?

he's on form b4 the injury..and good fixtures so there is no logical reason to go without him when fit unless u are punting

I'm not regretting rid of Sanchez. There's no way he's making this gw and highly doubt he is going to be chanced at home to Leicester. Arsenal have more than enough midfield Fire power there.

    Don't worry troops 😉

I don't follow the logic that he won't be chanced or risked v Leicester. it doesn't look there's any more risk then than there will be in any other game.

    Alexis to Silva.

    Who's with me!?

Alexis is not playing this weekend, and is a "possibility" for Leicester.

I'm not holding £11m in my team for a definite blank, and a 50/50 chance of making an appearance.
Not with all the other Arsenal options.
Would you rather have Alexis, and a 50% chance he plays?
Or Cazorla, £2m+ extra in the bank, and 100% chance of playing?

    2 WCT options

    1)
    Krul (ALNWICK)
    Terry Bellerin Wisdom/HAIDARA/PVA
    Haz Caz Silva Sterling (CORK)
    Kun Giroud FALCAO

    2)
    Krul / Panti
    Terry Bellerin SKRTEL FONTE Wisdom
    Haz Caz Silva Sterling (WALTERS)
    Kun Giroud KANE

    or in other words:

    1) Alnwick, PvA, Haidara, Cork and Falcao
    2) Pantilimon (to rotate with Krul), Skrtel, Fonte, Walters and Kane

Option 1 would give me an easy enough starting XI most weeks with Falcao as Man Utd cover and no blank most likely.

Option 2 is clearly more balanced but leaves me liable to make the wrong benching decisions basically every week (Krul vs. Panti, Kane vs. Walters, benching two out of 5 pretty good defenders).
