The Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (potential Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.

Gameweek 24

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Panti
    PvA, Terry, Wisdom
    ADM, Sterling, Sanchez, Hazard
    Giroud, Kun, Kane

    Krul | Boyd, Wasi, Bertrand

    1FT and 0.6ITB

After looking at the lineups I'll do Wasi -> Bellerin and start him over Wisdom if he is named in the starting 11. If not, I'll save. Thoughts?

Yeah, but Wenger might want to rest him considering he has played a lot recently.

Mmm, just noticed my benching dilemma:

    Terry (EVE)
    Fonte (WHU)
    Bellerin (LEI)
    Jones (BUR)

    Any ideas?

That's surprising. I didn't see or hear much about the leceister game today - what convinced you that they have any attacking threat?

Yea my reasoning was based that Arsenal's D with Ospina and Coquelin were in top form and I predicted goals in the Burnley vs West Brom relegation battle.

In the end, it was more for his attacking potential, he had a free header in the 6 yard box from a corner. So close!

    Pantilimon
    Fonte Azpilicueta Jones
    Silva Oscar Sterling Hazard
    Aguero Giroud Kane

It was a community pick for sure fwiw, I think nearly everyone had a slice of the Silva cake this week and for good reason. No one expected this result, I assume.

I will still ship though Mag most likely, albeit Cazorla has also thrown a spanner in the works with his poor showing. WIll decide if/when I see the line-ups for sure, hbu mate?

      1. dmhomag

You know my dim views on Silva outside of the #10 role.

No biggie as I shipped a TOT Eriksen early for him. In fact I think I'll hold Kane through his blank. Kane is easily a 8.0 valued player.

As a 9.5 paperweight Silva has to go as a priority. Will await line ups.

Caz has PK FK, so not a priority. Also petite playmakers don't do well in derbies.

Eyeing Ozil, YYT and of course Sanchez to replace Silva.

And damn forum persuaded me from Milner, but would have been on bench anyway.

So if Sanchez doesn't start this week....

    A) Sanchez -> ADM/Ozil/Mane
    B) Save transfer and start Clichy
    C) Silva -> ADM/Mane and start Clichy

    Foster
    Terry, Bellerin, PVA
    Sanchez, Hazard, Santi, Oscar, Silva
    Aguero, Kane

    Myhill, Clichy, Coloccini, Ayoze

Probably A Innsie as long as they both start

Silva was playing the left wing in a 4-4-2 since Dzeko started. I can see the same scenario repeating itself when Bony comes back.

Still doesn't seem Wally is Wenger's first choice because he doesn't defend much

      1. President John F. Keninnsie
        • 12 Years

Yeah I completely regret the Silva transfer in hindsight, if I knew they'd play 4-4-2 then there's no way I would've picked him. Maybe the easier fixtures will mean more Walcott starts since they won't have to defend as much against weaker opposition.

We should've forseen Dzeko starting. Oh well, I based it on the fact Bony won't be available for the midweek clash so figured it'd be alright for 2GW's, never mind.

A looks the best for this week if both do indeed start. But then it comes back to the question of who wenger will drop in certain weeks to accommodate all of his big hitters? If I could be assured Wally would start every week then it would be A for sure, but I just don't know what wenger's plan is. He does seem to like Wally a lot though.

After that meaningless and entirely useful ramble mostly to myself, I'll just say A 😛

Few players need to hit a bit of form before I'm getting them. They include:

    Walcott
    Sturridge
    Di Maria

Sturridge has to hit ridiculous amounts of form before I would even consider him, I don't understand how everybody could be berating Costa for only grabbing a goal a game whilst at the same time saying a returning-to-full-fitness Sturridge is an option for the same price

Last year, Sturridge had 22 goals, 8 assists, and 34 bonus points in about 2200 minutes. This year Costa has 17 goals, 2 assists and 14 bonus points in about 1600 minutes. Sturridge was better at BAPs/assists last year and they scored near the same amount of goals per minute (Although Costa's slightly ahead). That said, I agree with you, I'd probably rather have Costa, Sturridge is just new and shiny.

Fair point. I think a lot of people dislike Costa's lack of BAPs and yellow cards. Plus he's two yellow cards of serving a two match ban. Sturridge is more explosive as a captain.

        1. Just A Hat
          • 16 Years

hmm possibly, I dunno - I just think Sturridge is about 1-1.5 million overpriced this season.

This, I was firmly in that boat. Had Costa in the start until his injury and then all those factors came into play for me to have a foul opinion on him throughout.

Time will tell if Sturridge was a bad option.

Good luck getting them all in, big sacrifices to be made though...ADM is too expensive for his return rate...Wally is too much of a rotation risk and Sturridge....I'd say he'll be hot and cold like Liverpool until the rest of the season
