Maybe because things have gone rather wrong on occasion when people invade a sporting pitch, floor, field....whatever you want to call it. And, generally speaking, it is basically a loss of control of people and order. Whenever you have hundreds or thousands of people mass storming anything, there is a great chance for things to go sour.
