Hugo Lloris is ruled out of Spurs’ trip to Burnley. Danny Welbeck has “a little chance” of making Arsenal’s clash with Liverpool, who welcomed back Daniel Sturridge to full training yesterday. Romelu Lukaku is rated as “50-50” ahead of the visit of Southampton, West Ham welcome back Winston Reid in defence, whilst City boast a clean bill of health for their Monday evening trip to Palace.

Danny Welbeck has ”a little chance” of recovering from a knee injury in time for Arsenal’s home clash with Liverpool. Arsene Wenger has ruled out a return for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who remains troubled by a hamstring problem. Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Debuchy, Abou Diaby and Jack Wilshere are back in training – the weekend will come too soon for the first three, with Wenger uncertain over Wilshere’s availability.

Tim Sherwood has received a boost ahead of Villa’s trip to Old Trafford, with Ron Vlaar, Philippe Senderos, Tom Cleverley and Joe Cole all returning to training. Cleverley is ineligible to face his parent club, while Sherwood will assess the other three’s fitness before the weekend.

Everton have mixed news in attack with Arouna Kone available after returning to training, while strike partner Romelu Lukaku is rated as 50-50 and faces a fitness test to determine his availability. Fellow Belgian Kevin Mirallas is also set to be assessed ahead of the weekend, along with Darron Gibson and Steven Pienaar. Tony Hibbert and Bryan Oviedo are both ruled out through injury.

Steve Bruce has confirmed that both James Chester and Mo Diame are back in contention for Hull as they prepare to face Swansea, whilst Uruguayan Gaston Ramirez has also trained and is fit to play after recovering from a hamstring problem sustained on international duties.

Foxes defender Matt Upson has been ruled out of the weekend visit of West Ham after failing to recover from an Achilles problem and joins injured pair Dean Hammond and Zoumana Bakayogo on the sidelines. Meanwhile, Nigel Pearson has Liam Moore available for selection once again, with the defender returning from his loan spell with Brentford.

Brendan Rodgers is optimistic that England pair Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana will be available to face Arsenal, following their struggles with hip and groin injuries respectively. Sturridge made a return to full training yesterday, while Rodgers is hopeful that Lallana will be able to join the group today, ahead of the weekend.

Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed City have no injury worries for the trip to Palace. Yaya Toure has recovered from the Achilles problem that forced him to miss the win over west Brom, whilst James Milner is also available after skipping England duties with a knee complaint.

QPR’s on-loan forward Mauro Zarate has returned to parent club West Ham to receive treatment on an injury. In yesterday morning’s press conference, Chris Ramsey revealed he was still waiting on Yun Suk-Young to return from international duties before assessing the left-back’s fitness.

Mark Hughes believes Jon Walters will be fit for Stoke despite picking up a calf knock in training, while Marc Muniesa, Philipp Wollscheid, Erik Pieters and Stephen Ireland are also back fit and available.

Garry Monk has ruled Tom Carroll out of the weekend through injury, while winger Jefferson Montero will be assessed after pulling up with a muscle strain on international duty. Elsewhere, Kyle Bartley and Leon Britton are available for Saturday, having overcome knee and back injuries respectively.

Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Hugo Lloris will miss the trip to Turf Moor with the leg injury sustained against Leicester, while Roberto Soldado remains a concern with a knee injury.

Sam Allardyce is set to welcome back Winston Reid for the trip to Leicester, with the defender having made a return to training. Elsewhere, the Hammers boss concedes that Enner Valencia is likely to miss out once more despite returning to light training after stepping up his recovery from a toe injury.

Newcastle boss John Carver welcomes back Mehdi Abeid to the squad, though the Tyne-Wear derby with Sunderland comes “too soon” for Rolando Aarons, as he steps up his recovery from a hamstring injury.

Saints boss Ronald Koeman has revealed that Steven Davis is doubtful for the trip to Goodison Park with a groin problem. There is more positive news on long-term absentee Jay Rodriguez, with Koeman suggesting the forward could be fully fit in four-to-five weeks after stepping up his recovery.

Earlier this morning, Tony Pulis confirmed that Ben Foster and Callum McManaman are the only absentees for West Brom’s home clash with QPR.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

    Happy Good Friday to all!

Like many of us on here, I'm having some fairly major dilemmas regarding my lineup for this GW. I'd be very grateful if you could cast your eyes on it and give me some advice?

    Panti / Krul
    Terry / Bellerin / Clyne / Dawson / Toby
    Silva / Mane / Eriksen / Shelvey / Hazard
    Costa / Austin / Kane

    2 FTs, £2.9m ITB

Quite frankly, I've no idea what to do with this team. Shelvey's presence in it is irritating me a bit and I'm now questioning the wisdom of doubling on Soton's defence, even if it did work for me last GW. Please help! 🙂

General consensus would be to get rid of Bellerin.... (I'm personally not wasting 1 of 2FTs on that)

      Your GTG other than that

Thanks. I need to find a way to get Costa in for the forthcoming GWs though, so I'm going to need to downgrade somewhere. What do you think?

Sorry?! You've written above Costa... Unless that was mistake (& supposed to be Aguero)
If that the case, downgrade Eriksen... To swap out Austin

    Thoughts on this please

I currently have the front 3 of Aguero, Costa and Kane however I am 43 pts behind the leader of my cash ML and he has got Giroud, Kane, Costa as his front 3

however I am trying to cut his lead by bringing in Benteke as my DGWer

but my dilemma is who should I take out for Benteke

    Costa or Aguero

I'm thinking Costa at the mo because I have a feeling that Jose will rest him against Stoke and QPR
and then by him back in time for GW33

Any ideas about this plan would be appreciated

    Hello guys, any advice appreciated on this team;

    Panti, (Krul)

    Schlupp, Naughton, PVA, (Bertrand, Dawson*)

    Sánchez, Hazard, Silva, Eriksen, (Ameobi)

    Agüero, Giroud, Kane

    2FT, £0,3m ITB

Have no idea how to use the transfer(s)...
Maybe remove Dawson already, as his fixtures turn nasty in a short while?
Sell Giroud or Sánchez for a DGW-player, while preparing for Arsenals blank?
Give up on Agüero for Benteke maybe?
    I'm lost...

McCarthy to Myhill? I would try and ditch JWP also. Or save and do McCarthy to K. Davis and JWP to Boyd or some such next week.

I dunno people come along and without a bye or a leave and bloody cure you!

So atm my team looks like:

    Ospina (Krul)

    Naughton Terry Clyne (Toby, Baird)

    Sanchez Eriksen Silva Phillips (Mane)

    Aguero Kane Defoe

    1FT with 0.2 ITB

Was considering Sanchez > Mata and Defoe to Benteke for -4. Good idea? I like their fixtures this week but after that they're not great. Or I was thinking of Defoe > Ideye

    Any suggestions for this lot?

    Guzan (Krul)
    Terry Bertrand Naughton (PvA Wolly)
    Sanchez Hazard Silva Eriksen (Boyd)
    Aguero Kane Austin
    2 FT 0.0 ITB

Can't see anything to do but don't want to waste the FT.

If you do Krul to Myhill would that give you enough to do Wolly to Aldy next week?

Yep, but not sure I'd want double Soton defs?

Really? They haven't been tight enough for you? Oo-er. Tbh i was just trying to find something as your team looks all in place bar Wolly for me.

Ha, well yeah they've been quality of course. Just their fixtures aren't amazing and other teams have DGWs etc. Was considering Wolly > Schlupp for example.

I understand that reasoning, just personally i think a Saints def would get more than a Lei def until the end of the season. Also over a DGW. And also means less transfers to spend on it.

Yeah wouldn't disagree with that. Other thing is that I still have my WC though, so it might only be for a few weeks. Schlupp with a DGW (and rotated with someone) may well outscore Toby over 3 weeks.

Well 1 of those games is Chelsea. Your reasoning is sound, if you believe that Lei will keep any cleanies, otherwise you are just hoping on attacking returns.
