This evening, we roll out the fourth round draws of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XI, as sponsored by Paddy Power, as well as the fifth Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup.

John Terry’s Dog proved that rank is no barrier to success after trouncing 407th placed Mjfdept in the FFS Paddy Power Cup XI to book a place in round four. Our plucky underdog, who is ranked 48,093rd faces another tough tie, though, when he takes on 1,494th placed Morley.

The FFS Paddy Power Cup’s only remaining former champion Jonty (that’s me) eased past Pekka and takes on wagwan in round four.

Mark was another notable round three victor and faces Rook in the next round. Other eye-catching round four ties include Ryan’s clash with Horlicks and Paul’s match with fuml_akimbo.

The FFS Paddy Power Cup XI’s highest ranked manager is sixth placed BegTets, who faces Mndgms (81,398 overall) in round four.

Meanwhile, in the fifth Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup John Terry’s Dog has beaten the odds again after powering past 69th placed Anonymous to book a round four tie with 3,174th ranked TMIDrew.

Other ties in round four include Tommytour’s match with Billy Ketsu and Tuttifrutti’s clash with Shipstontrev.

With an overall rank of 41 Everybody knows badgers love mashpotato is the Members Cup’s highest placed manager. He faces Lovzat, who has an overall rank of 14,835, in round four.

The full draw for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XI can be found here, while the draw for the Members Scout V can be found here.

Good luck to those involved in the weekend’s action. In the meantime, though, if you’re looking for more information on the Scout Cup schedule and prizes available, click this link for a more thorough rundown.

I assume Moreno is a fairly safe pick? Might just do Naughton -> Moreno now, can bench him for the blank no bother.

Fairly safe. Not as safe as Skrtel maybe.

Aye though Skrtel misses this week which is a let down.

Aye, no wildcard so might as well make the best possible moves going for the next couple of weeks. 4 or 5 DGWers will do me fine tbh.

Emm, Leicesters fixtures are good. Is Cambiaso worth a punt maybe in for Boyd? I had similar notions about Phillips last gw but chickened out.

Only risk is he *could* get reduced minutes over the DGW due to his age. Probably not though because he's crucial to their chances and they'll probably just play him into the ground.

Unlikely that you will play him when it counts in GW34 right ? Hazard Silva Hendo Sterling/Coutinho might be the template

Maybe play Camb with Haz, Silva and Hendo, would allow me to bench Alexis and have for gw 37. Need to save the transfers.

That's my current inclination. The GW33 fixture is the most important one as I'll be fielding 10 (at most) and whoever I get has to play that week. A good GW32 fixture is a bonus. Also, I'd like the thrill/disappointment of owning Baines one more time this season.

    GW32 Austin ---> Remy

GW33 Save FT, and field this XI:
    Krul
Terry, Clyne, Dawson / PVA, Hutton
Hazard, Silva, Eriksen, Boyd / Mane
    Remy, Kane, Agüero

    GW34 Hutton, Eriksen, Mane ---> Skrtel, Coutinho/Sterling, Henderson -4
    Krul
Terry, Skrtel, PVA / Clyne, Dawson
Hazard, Silva, Coutinho/Sterling, Henderson / Boyd
    Remy, Kane, Agüero

    6x DGW for -4

    Your opinion ?

Mini league leader has this team:

    Pantilimon
    Fonte - Clyne - Bertrand
    Fabregas - Hazard - Sanchez - Downing
    Kane - Costa - Austin

    Bench: PvA, Moreno, Bolasie

How do I beat this? I'm 132 points behind, so catching up is a long shot. I'm not sure who to have.

    I currently have:

    Pantilimon
    Terry - Alderweireld - Bellerin
    Eriksen - Silva - Hazard - Ozil
    Kane - Sturridge - Aguero

    Bench: Gibson, McShane, Wisdom

Thinking that Pantilimon, Alderweireld and Wisdom need to go, not sure who else.

Disgusting is pejorative and I am shocked you would say that.

People posting "all of us know" when that's not the case annoys me. Is that not permissible?

Misguided = believing that Costa isn't significantly injured
Assumptive = that everyone else agrees
Wrong = stating that "everyone knows" when in fact no-one knows for sure.

My response might have been terse but "disgusting" is an extremely harsh condemnation.

Lots think he won't but as you say you never know.... I considered it and then decided against as want guaranteed DGW Chelsea players... If Maureen says anything in press conference I may change my mind

        Yeah,may be.
But I was taking into account his injury record,he always returns earlier than expected.

I am steering clear until we know a little more. Remy's gametime could well be split with Drogba anyway so that will be a doubt too. So frustrating because I had that money saved to do Austin to Costa for ages

Hi all....Can anyone tell me if this looks good?....I'm looking at replacing Sanchez after this game week with fabregas...this means I'll have 3 Chelsea players all lined up for gw 33 with Austin benched......I'll then look to bring in skrlt, hendO and sterling for gw 34 at a cost of minus 4 (have a spare ft)
I'll then have 6 dgw players with cash to buy back Sanchez and buy giroud plus Ramsey or cazorla for arsenals dgw.
does that sound like a plan?
it means I don't have to bother myself with the remy will he won't he issue.

Caution about Leicester. DGW games are away to Burnley and home to Chelsea. They are in a relegation scrap, I understand but Turf Moor is somewhat of a fortress and Chelsea may well thump them. Just be wary is all I shall say.
