        bet me to it.

you still did well to get green arrow, and made potentially good captain choice! differential to be had there.

I know the feeling, what's even worse was I got Gomis. He looked very threatening in the first 15 minutes before he got injured.

    @Mark / Jonty / Granville

You should try and get Ville Ronka on the ScoutCast or, failing that, TriggerLips - someone who does well year in, year out, rather than a one season wonder. Would be great to hear their philosophies and how they do it.

They've not been great at the back recently but with Sakho and Valencia out it might be worth a punt. Only Kompany nailed though.

Really scared about not having Aguero next week vs West Ham.

Allardyce sounded like they had already given up this season. Sakho + Valencia got injured, both doubtful for next week, that means there aren't much chances of meaningful attack from WHU with Nene/Cole up front - they could well park the bus.

Thoughts on this early WC team for GW34:

    Schmeichel (Ospina)

Terry - Fonte - Bertrand (PVA, Wilkinson)

Hazard - Henderson - Sterling - Cambiasso (Ramsey)

    Vardy - Remy -Sturridge

    7.6ITB.

Looks pretty good but tbh I wouldn't fancy double Saints defence. If you looked at their fixtures at the start of the season you'd say they were easy but now those teams are fighting for survival. I'd want a Pool defender (Skrtel) over one of their attackers who could be replaced by a City attacker

You have gone with the no City option on wc. I have still not reached a decision on this

      1. The Iron Tulip
        • 11 Years

Can you suggest a defender to go with so I'm not doubling? I will most likely get Silva back for the qpr game

Lose a Pool attacker and get Skrtel

          see I'm leaning the otherway

Have Silva GW34 v Villa and shift a Pool mid GW35 or 36 to get Ramsey

same idea with Remy, but would also use a transfer GW36 to get an Arsenal mid

              It's how you play it

get 2 City and 1 Arsenal (Ospina)
1 of each (Kun and Ramsey or Silva and Gru)
              or no City

    Current team:

    Mignolet / Hamer
    Rose / Taylor / PvA / Terry / Bellerin
    Silva / Hazard / Ki / Mata / Henderson
    Kane / Remy / Aguero

Got 1 FT and 0.2 ITB

Short on defenders for next week, so what's the best change? Thinking Toby or Schlupp for Taylor.

It's naffed me off..I spent the first half of teweek discussing with you aboutoubling up or even tripling p with CPL...and the because I waited and things changed I ended up getting Remy in.

Since I stopped doing early transfers at Christmas i've some right gaffe's. I should have got Murray last Sunday night like i used to do, it's to late to listen to nonsense then and change your mind...

      Save for DGW
If with WC, then go for CRY players.

Anyone else think it was a bit stupid giving Kane the captaincy?

I mean, just let him focus on his own game. He shouldn't have to be distracted by how his other teammates are getting on.

dont think so. Captaincy is quite overhyped in football i reckon

Maybe, but not a whole lot of alternatives around with Lloris and Vert out. So many new or young players.

Bentaleb probably the best option if not Kane..

I personally don't ever agree with a forward getting a (c). Think it should be a centre half or a centre mid.

Yeah, someone more central to the general play. However, as Royal5 said, there are a lot of inexperienced players at Spurs right now.

Anyone expects Soton to keep their back 7 intact for next season?

Players could be wary about demanding to leave, after seeing what the Liverpool party this season.

    -----------------------Forster
    --Clyne---Alderweireld--Fonte-----Bertrand
    -----------Wanyama---------Morgan.

The front 4 does not have out-of-the-world players, but I want to see JWP play more and more games at RM/CAM.

Clyne will definitely leave with only a year left on his contract.

Alderweireld is only on loan and bigger clubs will be after him.

      Schneirdelin will go to Arsenal/Spurs

I am very critical of that answer.
Wouldn't want somebody to walk into the XI, when some guy who has been at the club for 7 players just made it to the team after a lot of struggles, and is doing extremely well.

Clyne's in demand and Toby's on loan from Athletico so doubt either of them will be there. Morgan's linked with big teams every summer, think this might be the year he goes.

I think if United with CL football come in for Clyne, he is off

Toby is only on loan, Saints would like him to stay but City and Spurs are sniffing around and Athleti have said they'd like him back (also talk of Miranda leaving so he could have a space open up for him)

Who do you predict will score more points here:

GW33: Remy (MUN) or Murray (WBA)

GW34: Kane (sto) or Murray (HUL)

Seen a few posts on last few threads about people swapping Arsenal players to Liverpool players to prepare for DGW (benching this week), general points from me:

1 They play FA cup next weekend and players could get injured
2 Gives other ML players info on who you will have for the DGW (assuming point 1 does not happen)
3 At least wait until Monday night if your not convinced by my auguments

    Hope this helps 🙂

      Good points but.....

With 2 FTs now - it's either get a Pool player, get a Leicester player, a Chelsea player with a tough fixture this week or get a SGW player.
