I think that would make it more of a game of chance to be honest. Nothing you can do about late withdrawals, it's just unlucky, so I don't think we should be punished for it more than necessary.

Though if it's a defender that drops out and your replacement defender is up against a major team, you can end up getting minus points subbed in.

Yeah, it doesn't always work out. But it's more likely to benefit managers who've put thought into their squad and maintain it well.

Leaning towards WCing Gw35 all of a sudden, great fixtures for nearly every top team -- Arsenal (hul) / Liverpool (QPR) / ManCity (tot) / ManUnited (WBA) / Chelsea (CRY) / Saints (sun) -- Looks very much like a probable high scoring GW considering the defensive opposition faced. Leicester (NEW) also have a a very tempting fixture, albeit that's more of a con for WCing Gw34.

Either way in the grand scheme of things, three Liverpool and Chelsea players are arguably must haves for the DGW, IMO. Perhaps one Leicester attacker - Vardy, Cambiasso or nugent - a complete luxury, yes, yet a calculated risk since their offense has been on fire of late.

    #2 - http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/public-stats-tables/view/94/
    #1, #3 and #4 - http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/public-stats-tables/view/1026/

I can comfortably put out three Chelsea and Liverpool players for the DGW for free, and a Leicester attacker for a hit. Also to take into account is Aguero's form, depending on how both perform vs West Ham, there is no harm in playing both that week. In theory, the only place that my WC Gw34 would drastically change is my keeper rotation (play Davis or Schmeichel), a third DGW defender (Morgan), and one extra Leicester attacker.

tl:dr...so I'm looking at 9 DGWers on WC with little ability to punt, since I'll need to use all three trannies on preparing for Arsenal's DGW and getting Kane back: vs 7 DGWers (-4) and a good WC Gw35 leaving my team set for the season, Gw37, and some trannies to punt on (Cisse, Defoe, Larsson, Tekkers etc...).

The WC Gw35 does put me at a disadvantage for Gw33 though, instead of taking two one week punts and dishing out a more complete XI, I'd be getting in a Leicester and a Chelsea player with 2 FT's, and relying on Clichy to have eleven players.

Thoughts guys? Has anyone considered a GW 35? Or do you reckon a WC Gw34 is more beneficial long term? Sorry for the log rant, just wanted some second opinions on the mata.

Using my WC on DGW 34.

This'll be a problem regardless of who I get though. I'm going to be bringing in three Liverpool player anyway so any alternatives would just have to be shipped out afterwards too.

anyone else think that people are WAY overhyping Remy?

he's not nearly as good as Costa, who hasn't been getting a whole lot of service lately anyways as the tactics don't revolve around the striker, and is just cheap.

so I assume it's because of his price?

I would think double defense is a better way to go. as someone shrewdly pointed out, Mourinho will end the season tidily, not looking to smash in goals for entertainment.

Got rid of Sturridge for Vardy , will play 3-5-2 with Kane benched now , going to take at least a -4 now Cork Mane > Sterling Henderson and possibly a -8 in total to get a Liverpool defender , this is the planned team(will have enough cash to get Giroud for Kane after too)

      ____________Davis
      ____Ivanovic Schlupp Bertrand*
      Henderson Sanchez Silva Hazard Sterling
      ________Ageuro Vardy
      (Myhill Kane Bellerin Duff )

Is that enough cover for the dgw for a -4 ?

And is worth taking that extra -4 to do Bertrand > Skrtl given that Liv have a double and then QPR home and only 1 tough fixture in the run in , or back the benching Kane decision and stick with double Saints defence as Spurs are really struggling attacking wise ?

Anyone know if Duff's spot is safe for the season? Thinking of getting him in for Naughton instead of spending more for a LEI defender. Tried searching online and found this article after the first time Keane got benched for Duff:
      _____________

Duff, fit again after injury, is likely to keep his place for Saturday's trip to Southampton but Dyche insists Keane still has a huge part to play at Turf Moor.

He told the Burnley Express: "Keano has done absolutely smashing, he's a young player who is going to improve and be a big, big player.

"Part of his development is going in and playing, coming out, having a look at it and moving forwards. He will definitely do that, and you can only pick 11."

Cheers. No players tonight and only fell 10k from yesterday. I suppose that's good anyway

Tiny drop with 3 points today, expected a bigger drop than that.

Yeah I'll get over it, but just not today 😀 Still a great GW for me on the bench! Never take hits for defenders they said - hah. Best -8 of my life.
