This afternoon we roll out the fifth round draw of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XI, as sponsored by Paddy Power, as well as the fifth round draw for the Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup.

The FFS Paddy Power Cup XI’s only surviving former champion Jonty (that’s me) scraped into the next round by the slenderest of margins, with rank deciding my clash with wagwan after we both earned 51 points in Gameweek 32. I will now take on The Flying Nugget in round five.

Mark also progressed after squeaking past Rook by just three points to set up a round five tie with Bartowski. Fuml_akimbo, who has a rank of 50 and was the conqueror of Paul in the fourth round will now face Reggie Boy in round five.

Among other eye-catching round five ties is John Terry’s Dog’s match up with NeedleVor, while Ryansquares up to Super-Hans.

The manager with the highest round four score was arob100, who wins £25 worth of free bets with Paddy Power.

The highest ranked remaining manager in the FFS Paddy Power Cup XI is 15th placed BegTets, who has a tough tie against 928th ranked Jon Nurse.

In the Members Cup ties intriguing ties include Billy Ketsu’s match with Footygod19 and Johni00’s clash with Needlevor.

The highest ranked manager in the Members Cup is 34th placed Everybody knows badgers love mashpotato, who faces Green_Libero.

The full fifth round draw for the FFS Paddy Power Cup XI can be found here, while the fifth round draw for the Members Scout V can be found here.

Good luck to those involved in the weekend’s action. In the meantime, though, if you’re looking for more information on the Scout Cup schedule and prizes available, click this link for a more thorough rundown.

For the weekend, how does this sound?

    - Tottenham win (draw no bet)
    - Southampton win (draw no bet)
    - Palace win (draw no bet)
    - Everton CS

    Tenner returns £75

Very risky. Too much could go wrong. But that's what gambling is!

Indeed, may scrap the Everton CS. Spurs, Sot and Palace all likely to win, and if any of them draw I'm still in the money.

Well Spurs would have been bankers for their last two as well! They should do Newcastle. Saints more suspect away but should do Stoke, if they can score. Agree Palace should win too.

No need to be so bitter about it, just a bit of fun. For the record, where do you think it will cave in?

Any of them, maybe more than one. None would be maybe shocks if they ended up in draws.

Hence why I would put them on as a draw no bet, so they come in as a 'winner' @ odds of 1.0 if they were to draw.

If they had Forster I'd argue against it all day long, but with Davis in net, it's a different story.

Me either, but Kane could easily pop up with a goal or two. Newcastle have 2 goals in their last 7 games and have conceded 14 in just as many.

I just think the for the weak odds you get on a Spurs win they are not worth putting into the accumulator for such a poor team.

    Guzan Krul
    Bertrand Terry Naughton Dawson* Bellerín*
    Hazard Silva Eriksen Cazorla* Sinclair*
    Agüero Kane Giroud*

    2FT and 0.6ITB, WC intact.

    Thinking:
    Cazorla to Siggy
    Giruid to Vardy

Meaning I can go Sinclair to Fab next week.

Opinions on my planned transfers and any other options appreciated. In the top 200 but still recovering from the Benteke/Austin wrecking show.

-QPR should go down, still living from the legacy of the man who put portsmouth in the mire-yes the one with the dodgy legs
Hull-fat ladt finally sings on the ex rag pantodame.
Sunderland-more like tumbleweed land, crowd love leaving at half time-do some proper moaning in the championship.

      punch
siggy has been moved to a deeper position by monk to allow the kids(ki and shelvey) to take pot shots-swansea will lose to the determined leicester.
punch playing for an attacking team on form against a teamstinging from a loss -wba will need to play adventurous ,they have suddenly realised there are no more points to be had in their other remaining fixtures-they will be in a panic and the eagles will pickemoff

      Hmmm that's a weird one.

I would get rid of Cazorla and not touch him again for the season personally.
Giroud you should have in your team after they have the blank and after they play Chelsea.
Problem being Aguero has potential to be big this gameweek i feel, Bolasie too.
Both of those options are good both short and long term.
Maybe get rid of Giroud and get Aguero this week, then next week drop Cazorla for someone who plays in the double, and then get Giroud back in for GW 35 or 36 before the Arsenal double.

Both are highly inconsistent when it comes to FPL and frustrating to own.

Most of the BWers on here will tell you Bolasie purely based on last week's points but I would explore more sensible options.

    1. Debauchy
      • 13 Years
      11 years, 5 days ago

Not only due to last weeks points. Pardew has moved Bolasie central and if he stays there see no reason that he wont continue with returns.

    2. Pellegrini Falcon
      • 11 Years

But if it's purely for a one week punt before WCing? Personally think Palace has among the best attacking options this week, what about you?

For a one week punt would be a certain move for me - Bolasie in . If he reverts to a lesser threat then lose him on wc
