Swansea’s Bafetimbi Gomis is set for a spell on the sidelines through injury. Enner Valencia is available for the Hammers. Roberto Martinez is optimistic on Romelu Lukaku’s fitness ahead of the weekend. Brown Ideye has emerged as an injury concern for West Brom. Mario Balotelli is back in contention for Liverpool, while Mikel Arteta remains on the sidelines for the Gunners.

Swansea will be without forward Bafetimbi Gomis for around four weeks with the hamstring injury suffered against Everton. Meanwhile in more positive news, Garry Monk has confirmed that both Nelson Oliveira and Jefferson Montero are back in training to boost the Swans attacking options ahead of the weekend.

Alan Pardew revealed earlier this morning that Palace have the same squad as last weekend and reports no new injuries, which indicate Pape Souare has recovered from the knock that forced him off during the 4-1 win at Sunderland.

Roberto Martinez has revealed that Romelu Lukaku is looking good in training, and is optimistic on the Belgian’s chances of featuring at the weekend, should there be no further problems. Leon Osman is a doubt with the groin injury sustained against Swansea, though Martinez believes that the midfielder could recover in time to play at the weekend.

Enner Valencia is back in contention for West Ham after recovering from the foot problem that forced him off against Stoke last weekend.

Ahead of the FA Cup meeting with Reading, Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Jack Wilshere is available for selection, though fellow midfielder Mikel Arteta remains on the sidelines through a lack of match fitness. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is two weeks away from a return to action.

Tony Pulis has confirmed that forward Brown Ideye is a doubt to face Crystal Palace after sustaining a knee injury in the week. Elsewhere, winger Callum McManaman is available for selection once more, having turned out for the reserves in midweek.

Saints boss Ronald Koeman has again ruled Filip Đjuricic out of the weekend, though will welcome back defender Florin Gardos to the squad after overcoming his injury.

Sean Dyche has received a boost with news that both Ross Wallace and Steven Reid are set to be welcomed back into the squad having recovered from their respective injuries.

Mario Balotelli is in contention to take part at Wembley this weekend, having made a return to full training this week. Adam Lallana though, is expected to miss out once more as he battles with a groin injury.

Hull’s Gaston Ramirez is expected to make a return to training next week, having recovered from a recent hamstring injury. The Uruguayan was ineligible to play against parent club Southampton last weekend.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

After my Jan WC, when I was around 3k, I had 7 red arrows out of 8 and dropped to around 15k! Almost destroyed my season!

          Ditto

I was cruising along at 2163 ranking around GW 20...played Jan WC in GW 22...dropped to 5.9k immediately...then to 10.4k the week after...never recovered.

Where best to spend my FT?
Wildcarding next week, so it can be a one-week punt. Very tempted by Everton to be honest.

    Howard
    Vertonghen, Clyne, Clichy (Terry, Dawson)
    Silva, Mane, Hazard, Puncheon (Sanchez)
    Murray, Aguero (c), Kane
    1.1m in the bank

    a. Sell Vertonghen and buy…?
    b. Sell Clyne and buy…?
    c. Sell Clichy and buy…?
    d. Sell Dawson and buy…?
    e. Sell Mane and buy…?

      • 15 Years
      10 years, 11 months ago

Silva has west ham, villa and qpr at home in the next four.

Arsenal have plenty of other viable options like Ramsey, Ozil that could outscore Sanchez in the dgw so selling is not the worst idea if you cant afford him back

      1. Doolittle
        • 13 Years
        10 years, 11 months ago

Yeah fair point, I worry that Sanchez is the one who will explode, but it's always an option if i can't afford him back.

          • 15 Years
          10 years, 11 months ago

Being an Arsenal fan and having watched all the games it is very difficult to predict. Sanchez's most definitive scoring period of the season tended to be when Giroud, Ramsey and Ozil were out. Now all fit and in form its a guess as to who will pick up the points. Personally I'll be getting three of the four to trying and cover the options!

How many DGW players are non-WC people playing? I see plenty of people getting rid of all Arsenal players but they have Hull in 35. Surely people are going to already have transfers planned and even more hits? Seems more sensible to get say just bench an Arsenal player rather than waste transfers getting them out and then back in again? Just trying to work out other peoples thought process.

Hey guys, wildcard left for GW 34, circa 15k position but key is 20 pts clear in mini league.

    This week:

    Krul
    Wollsheid Bertrand Rose
    Silva Hazard Boyd Eriksen
    Aguero Remy Kane

No subs. 2FT. WC next week. What do you recommend? need to use both FT...

A - Remy > Murray (depending on news conference – rival has Remy and will not be able to sell)
B - Sanchez > best mid option for the week (Bolasie, Yaya?)
C - Sanchez > Siggy (to cover one of the few differentials rival has)
D - Naughton > Baines and bench Wolly
    E - another transfer?

Would really appreciate any tips or opinions. Will blast the WC next week on 6-8 DGWers

    Thanks in advance

Yeah I am leaning towards A, plus having Murray next week against Hull is tempting too.
