Gameweek 34 continues apace with Hull City playing host to Liverpool in a 7.45pm kick off. The Tigers look to build momentum after a 2-0 victory at Crystal Palace marked their first win in seven matches. Meanwhile, the Reds arrive at the KC Stadium off the back of a 0-0 stalemate against West Bromwich Albion, searching for only their second win in five outings.

Hull boss Steve Bruce will hope for a repeat performance of the Eagles clash, in which they fashioned the second-most shots on target (seven) of any side so far this Gameweek. Senegalese frontman Dame N’Doye remains the Tigers’ principal goal threat after netting twice at Selhurst Park, while Robbie Brady – who engineered the second most chances (five) among all midfielders on the weekend – keeps his place on the left as Steve Bruce names an unchanged XI.

Raheem Sterling’s abundance of owners will want more from the Jamaican-born wide man after he failed to register a single shot at The Hawthorns. Philippe Coutinho, on the other hand, mustered nine efforts on goal against the Baggies but has now failed to find the net in his previous six league starts. With two assists and four goals in seven appearances, Jordan Henderson is the form man for the Merseysiders and his prospects will be boosted by the absence of Steven Gerrard this evening. The Reds skipper drops out in the visitors’ only change as Brendan Rodgers hands Mario Balotelli another start up front.

I'm sorry and must apologise to everyone. I'm a Liverpool fan and purposely avoid having their players in my FF squad so that there's always a silver lining if FF team does poorly.
I broke my own rule and this week I took a -8 to bring three of them in and low and behold they can't hit the back of the net over 180 minutes against West Brom and Hull.....

    Again, I'm terribly sorry!

The same reason he didnt leave dortmund earlier despite the success

        1. Somalion

Then why leave them now when they need him? To do the exact same thing at Pool? (Work with less money than rivals and watch any of his talented players be bought from under him.) Just doesn't seem to make sense to me. I think Pool as a club are closer to Dortmund than the others, I just don't know why he'd leave Dortmund if he's looking for the exact same thing with a different accent.

I think Liverpool as a club are much closer to Dortmund in ethos and spirit than any of the petro-dollar behemoths; Klopp and Liverpool would be a good match.

        1. Somalion
          • 16 Years
          10 years, 11 months ago

But he spent 7 years of working under financial constraints and seeing all his big players be bought by other clubs. If he wanted to do that exact same thing again, why bother leaving Dortmund?
