We’ve tasked the Sky Blues’ marquee forward, the Red Devils’ reborn midfielder and Liverpool’s fleet-footed playmaker with overhauling Paddy in this week’s iteration of Fantasy Flutter.

Our first wager this week has us eyeing up Sergio Aguero as he pays visit to one of his favourite hunting grounds: White Hart Lane. The Argentinian striker netted seven goals in his previous three starts against Tottenham Hotspur – including a four-goal haul in the reverse fixture – and boasts great form in the league (four goals in three). As such, Paddy’s 12/1 offer on Aguero to score two or more goals and City to keep a clean sheet has tempted us to part with our first £3.

Marouane Fellaini’s resurgence under Louis van Gaal renders the Belgian an enticing target for our second punt. The former Everton stalwart – who’s notched two goals in six starts – has evolved into the focal point of the Red Devils’ attack, chalking up more shots inside the box (six) than any other United midfielder. Considering the Baggies have recorded the fewest away goals (11) in the league this term, Paddy’s 11/2 offer on Fellaini to score and United to keep a clean sheet has us handing over a further £3.

Philippe Coutinho is the subject of our final, and favourite, bet in this round of fixtures. Despite drawing a blank in the last six Gameweeks, no midfielder has fashioned more attempts on target (nine) than the Brazilian starlet over that stretch. Allied with the fact that the Reds recorded shut-outs in nine of their previous 14 outings, Paddy’s 4/1 odds on Coutinho to score and Liverpool to keep a clean sheet  have encouraged us to invest our final £4.

    Biggest transfers out this GW:

    Rooney 58k
    Murray 56k
    Sterling 39k
    Moreno 38k
    Silva 35k

    Biggest transfers in:

    Benteke 68k
    Giroud 65k
    Pelle 44k
    Sanchez 44k
    Vardy 35k

    Some interesting ones there. Rooney has been declared fit and has a good run-in for fixtures. Moreno has also been declared fit and has QPR today (if selected) as does Sterling All three have a good chance to bite sellers. Silva and especially Murray seem less surprising.

    The transfers in are more predictable, Benteke, Giroud and Sanchez are quite obvious though Vardy's transfers in are somewhat surprising, surely last week was the week to get him?

    Having wildcarded last week I am effectively 4 transfers away from the end of the season unless I take a hit (which I don't plan to). Fortunately saving FT has been easy for me this week.

        Yeah. Some players are Sheep, simply look at previous week's efforts with no plan at all. Vardy needs to be shipped next week. Benteke is a good call though - Villa have OK fixtures and a battle so will need him to gun the last 4 matches.

              Well, the main thing is I wouldn't bench Cesc, he's playing very well.

              Between N'Doye and Ramsey it's an even call but if Hull score (which I think they will) N'Doye is the most likely scorer whereas if Arsenal score it could be anyone. I don't think there will be many goals in the game. So N'Doye just shaves it for me.

          He refused tests one day before as in the past when he has done them it weakened him... Be that mental or physically....

          He had no problem doing drug tests randomly before the fight and a test after the fight... Just didn't want one the day before as he felt the blood coming out weakened him....

          yes. which doesn't mean he was doping btw. pac hated the idea of mayweather dictating terms to him. either man could have made this fight happen ages ago tbh by just letting the other get his way. there has been so much he said she said for so long. I had given up on it happening. so stoked it is on finally! can't wait.
          remember the last time the top two pound for pound fighters actually fought was 3 decades ago. it took over 3 years to agree terms. it was called the war. it was the best fight of all time 🙂

      I think the answer is no. There is a big bandwagon for Sanchez on here due to early season explosiveness. Starting to prefer Ozil,although it's the fear of going without that makes people pick Sanchez

      Done. Not sure that McCarthy and Milner are underrated.

      I hear a lot of people praising McCarthy over the last two years. And, you can hardly switch on TalkSport without someone saying what a great player Milner is!

        Agreed. Great in terms of PL, not so much FPL. There are alot of players in the league that fall into this bracket year on year.

        Matic is the best example. Brilliant player. But there's no points in FPL for being a badass.

            Yep. Matic and Milner in tougher games would choke the life out of opponents. Just what I like. 🙂

            Chelsea need to get tougher to beat if we are to contest the CL with Bayern, Barca and RM next season and we need a top CM to do that. Pogba is the one I'd most like but Milner could do a very good job I think.

      McCarthy is constantly being linked with big clubs in the tabloids and he is very highly rated last year in particular . I'v read stories that Chelsea , United , Liverpool are interested in him . Milner gets alot of praise aswell Sky Sports have an article at the min saying he is one of Cities most important players .

    I also think that Yaya not playing is a big factor. We all know how City played their games without Yaya this season. Can Kun still run riot without Yaya support?

          Aguero could have had six by the time Fazio sent off - he'd scored two and missed a penalty, as well as winning another from Fazio's foul. I'm not saying expect a repeat, but it showed Kun is more than capable of exploding without Yaya.

      This appears to be the best week till GW38 for a captain gamble.

      GW36 city play QPR at home and Aguero is the obvious captain choice.
      GW37 Arsenal DGW means Sanchez /Gru
