I can’t deny it – right now my luck is in. Following on from Sadio Mane’s three-minute explosion of points, I’m finding it hard to mask my “smug face” in this week’s ScoutCast episode. You’re advised to stick to the audio version rather than suffer it in full effect via the Google Hangout recording.

Whilst resisting the temptation to revel in my Gameweek 37 glory, I do my best to invite both Granville and Jonty into the conversation to cycle through the ScoutCast regulars. We also tackle another batch of community questions, as you quiz us on final day punts, our Fantasy Football Scout moment of the season and on the state of the Fantasy Premier League game that we know and love.

This episode was recorded on Wednesday evening (prior to Eden Hazard’s visit from the tooth fairy) and beamed live on Google Hangouts.

          Pretty dedicated rival. I try and second guess my ML rivals, but noting team value changes is probably a whole load of effort I'd prefer to put into my own team

            True. To be fair I've been taking screenshots each morning of his transfers/team value. It is quite easy to work out what transfers he's made by doing the maths.

            a lot will watch the team value changes, its a good way to identify their changes. it can be very telling.

              Exactly - his value dropped lots today when he made 1 transfer which suggests he has taken Hazard out. Makes my decision easier if I did decide to block him

    I know "coverage" is a myth but Aguero(C), Yaya, Silva, Sanchez, Cazorla and Ramsey looks too much when I see it in my team..

    My historic experience tells me that if you are planning a change, plan for disappointment.

    The last gameweek is a total lottery particularly as there are only really two teams with a real desire to get a positive result.

    I think the following is the only safe plan(unless you need to take a major risk to close a ML gap):

    Unless you know for definite a key player is out don't transfer him(you could be bringing in a player who equally may not be guaranteed to play).

    If you have a player who has hardly played recently then that is probably the player to transfer for the best trade possible-think need to ensure you have strength in depth.

    Good luck Guys and don't fret, you will be disappointed with your transfers come 5pm on Sunday.....

          Well in my opinion lots of the players will not perform as normally expected-could you have seen Chelsea losing at WBA a couple of months ago or Arsenal failing to score against Sunderland, the loss in Form of some of the top teams recently, tiredness creeping in.

          We'll see-there will be disappointment and I do think there will be odd results-merely my opinion and I respect yours.

                I fancy that Costa has the biggest potential upside, probably followed by Lukaku.

                  Lukaku is first choice, don't know what the pecking order is at Chelsea but with Hazard probably out, Fabregas suspended and Oscar out it could be Costa. Maybe Ivanovic will fancy stepping up 😉

    So as the season draws to an end, I had one transfer reaming. I believe I have picked the highest scoring player for this week and he's been in fine for recently. Been monitoring him for some time now but im glad to say I have finally transferred him in for a straight swap for Hazard. I have even captained him. So here's to hoping for a hat trick from man of the moment... Aaron Lennon
