I can’t deny it – right now my luck is in. Following on from Sadio Mane’s three-minute explosion of points, I’m finding it hard to mask my “smug face” in this week’s ScoutCast episode. You’re advised to stick to the audio version rather than suffer it in full effect via the Google Hangout recording.

Whilst resisting the temptation to revel in my Gameweek 37 glory, I do my best to invite both Granville and Jonty into the conversation to cycle through the ScoutCast regulars. We also tackle another batch of community questions, as you quiz us on final day punts, our Fantasy Football Scout moment of the season and on the state of the Fantasy Premier League game that we know and love.

This episode was recorded on Wednesday evening (prior to Eden Hazard’s visit from the tooth fairy) and beamed live on Google Hangouts.

      50 hours of just staying awake is amazing. I've not played Fifa for age, and not watched Twitch more than once. But (and I mean this in a non-sarcastic way) what is he playing. It just seems to be a cards he's flicking through?? Is there something I need to do to see him playing?

    I'm thinking he has got rid of either Hazard or Sanchez - although can't work out who for as both were recent purchases with sell value of approx 11.0-11.5.

    Really unsure on my FT and want to avoid a hit. I will (C) Kun and thinking Toby to Schluup as a blocker (I wouldn't start him anyway but rotation risks therefore fair chance of sub) Not really happy with it but gut feel that Haz and Sanchez will get 60mins.

    Sorry for War and Peace but really tricky situation and help would be great fully received. Thanks.

        Makes sense, but...

        If I'm doing Hazard > Silva/Mata for a hit then am I better off going for Mata as he has a higher potential for reward? Doesn't seem worthwhile taking a hit for someone a load of people will have anyway....

        I feel like I'm both underthinking and overthinking this move... 🙁

          Wouldn't trust any Newcastle or Hull mids.

          The Mata logic would be that a) he has a share of set pieces (including penalties) and b) Hull will have to win, which could see them leaving themselves badly exposed if they're chasing a lead.

            I'm still worrying about price drops, but just realised that even if Fab drops tonight (looks likely), loosing 0.1 makes no difference to who I can bring in.

            Whereas I think Hull's best bet is to keep it tight at the back, not concede an early goal, get to half time 0-0 and try and sneak a 2nd half goal and win 1-0.

            If they go Gung-Ho early Utd has the pace to punish them.

    Sanchez > Walcott sound good?

    Probably will do it anyway but unless im missing something is there any mid for max £9m worth it otherwise?

    Having second thoughts because West Brom have been incredibly strong defensively, but then again I'd still have a max of 2 Arsenal mids playing regardless. However as far as Arsenal players willing to explode and get game time he is the best bet.

    Mata/Young have been suggested but i can see Hull putting up a fight/one being rested/benched/forced into non attacking mid for ADM/Rooney.

    Palace mids are impossible to get right, pretty much the same as Arsenal, will end up picking the 2 point scoring one.

    Any help please? 😀
