The surgery will open run from 9pm until 11pm.

    Hey guys, great idea having a dedicated RMT area, would really appreciate your opinion on my plan/team below.

    I'm looking to use my wildcard after GW4 (settled teams, idea of form players, closed transfer window, price rises during international break etc.), therefore I'm only looking for players who will score big in the first 4 weeks.

    Having frisked the fixtures for the strong, I've targeted Arsenal as my premium team, Southampton as mid-range and Bournemouth as my budget. I've also chucked in players from the other big 3 teams for coverage.

    Team currently looks like this (3-4-3)

    Cech | Schwarzer
    Koscieiny | Cedric | Francis | O'Shea | Huth
    Hazard | Silva | Walcott | Richie | Wanyama
    Rooney | Pelle | Wilson

    I have 1m left in the bank to do Wilson > Sakho gameweek 2.

    Any feedback would be great with regards to overall plan or players in/out

      Given your approach, I think you've chosen a pretty strong team. I would be wary personally of the number of double-ups you have, but if you plan to WC after 4 weeks then that's less of an issue.

        Thanks Jimjam, I agree it's a bit risky, but like you say it's only for the first for weeks. Plus I can use my first 3 transfers incase someone explodes early doors.

      Good team, don't think it's too light on top as long as Aguero starts, but can probably downgrade to Rooney so you have Man U coverage till Aguero's fit.

    First time playing seriously, planning to wildcard in week 4 to bring in Aguero, so defensive rotations and picks were only considering the 1st 4 matchweeks:

      My suggestion would be as you are looking to wildcard GW4 to also include some someone from Southampton as they have the easiest starting fixtures. See my post above for suggestions as I am planning on doing the same thing.

    Sorry in advance for long post

    Been looking very deeply into the statistics from last season. And my own conclusion is that even if you managed to pick the players that perform best from the good performing mid-priced to fairly high-priced players. You wont get more points than if you have Sanchez, Hazard and Aguero in your team, and take the consequences from these three premium players price. (if they do as well as last season)

    With that as background I've come to this team so far.

    Schmichel, Rud
    Azpiliqueta, Cedric, Lescott, Francis, O'shea
    Hazard, Sanches, Özil, Richie, Bentaleb
    Aguero, Sakho, Wilson

    This is how I want it to GW4 based on todays info. There are a few question marks, but my frame is nailed.

    When it comes to goalkeepers, according to my calculations, a good 4.5m keeper + 4.0 will give statistically you about 12-13p LESS than a good 4.5 + 4.5 rotation. So I think I can find more points by investing those 0.5 million elsewhere.

    But I'm not that experienced in FPL. So what I haven't figured out is how much you might lose, on not being able to be as flexible with taking in several inform players to play around your 3 premium players. And don't see a good way to do math on it. What is your feeling, how important is this points wise, and also in the case of increasing your team value.

      Keep an open mind, you might want the likes of Sterling, Rooney, Walcott, Milner, Shaw, even Bojan after the first few weeks. Sanchez isn't great value with all the other Ars mids scoring. I think the value will be in picking the right 7-9m mids and strikers at the right times. Best to have a diversified team to start. After 4 weeks, you should try to have the template team of the top 10k fpl players; this will ensure you'll surf the price rises

        Good point, Plan is to start with only Hazard in GW1, then in with sanchez in to GW3 if nothing else needs overseeing first, then Aguero to GW4. Will probably start with some cash ITB to be able to aim to my own template with 2 or max 3 transfers.

      I'm not sure on 5 way rotation seems a bit messy to me
      Midfield looking weak due to spending money on 5th midfielder. You'll end up benching points
      Forwards looks fine
      I'd go back to basics one or two good defenders and rotation on other 3
      5th mid at 4.5 and get two heavys in midfield

    This is my current draft, I'm not really sure on my choice of £4.0m and £4.5m players but I'm quite happy with the others; just a few tweaks needed I feel!

    Schmeichel, Hennessey;
    Azpilicueta, Mertesacker, Kaboul, S. Taylor, M. Turner;
    Hazard, Walcott, Ozil, Mane, Anya;
    Rooney, Lukaku, Sakho; £1.0m in the bank.

    The thinking behind the £1.0m itb is I could easily upgrade Lukaku and Mane to Benteke and Depay in GW2/3 if it's needed. Or switch to 4-3-3 by upgrading a £4.0m defender to Cedric or Williams.

    The main questions are whether Kaboul will start for Sunderland, whether Anya is the best £4.5m mid, and whether two £4.0m defenders are overkill. I'm also considering Myhill instead of Schmeichel and Koscielny instead of Mert...
