The Fantasy Football Scout Rate My Team Surgery

Please use this article to post your Rate My Team (RMT) queries and any questions regarding team selection and our panel will join the discussion to provide input on as many as possible.

The surgery will open run from 9pm until 11pm.

Here’s some quick house rules to read before you post:

    Which one of the following looks the best for you?

    A) Rooney & Walcott -> Aguero, Montero
    B) Benteke, Walcott & Sterling -> Aguero, Payet & Mahrez (-4)
    C) Hazard, Benteke & Wally -> Payet, Aguero, A.Ayew (-4)
    D) Sterling, Benteke & Wally -> Payet, Aguero, Mahrez (-4)

    Hazard > Payet
    Rooney > Aguero

    Would be a -4.

    Payet would mean 3 West Ham players in my team but only 1 of them starts. (the others are Oxford and Adrian). Want to act quick to avoid price rises

      I don't like that Hazard to Payet move would look for other ways.

    So Aguero is expensive. Even from Rooney it requires freeing up another 2.5m!

    The added problem is Aguero is probably rising to 13.1 tonight, making it effectively 3m drop from other players with 0.4 sitting in the bank.

    How about Rooney + Benteke -> Aguero + Sahko. 4pt hit

    Gets sahko for some good fixtures but hasnt necessairly shown great form to date

    Benteke hasnt really had time to prove himself.

        Shakes assault charge will affect his form. It stopped Dorrius Hendersons career affectively. Too much stress and time dealing with police maybe courts

      Looks good and balanced imo all players should play the only thing I would think is having a plan to get some Chelsea in when they turn the ship around.

        a concern of mine was over reliance on the wba villa rotation in goal and defence. Looking out for some other good rotations

    if on WC

    1) best goalkeeper combo?
    2) best 4.5m defenders?

    was looking at MyHill/McCarthy but Marshall seems to be on his way in..and for defense currently looking at Gomez and Huth for now (other 3: Kolarov, Darmian, Williams)

      1) I like Myhill and Guzan this way you would have one save goalkeeper in case something bad happens.
      2) Still think Huth/Morgan will come good Muniesa looks like a good option too.

    Which option would you prefer for next week? I'm not on a wildcard and would probably lose Rooney anyway after Newcastle.

        Most people seem to has more belief in absentee than me. For me A has more players who are established at their clubs and at one time have been good fantasy assists there. B has more new comers but I think tomorrow will tell u more about Benteke at Liverpool. I think the majority in here would say B

    How about swapping Benteke for Aguero and Hazard for Chadli (or anyone else 7.0 max?) Goals have got to start coming for utd soon. I would like to give Benteke chance though he hasnt played Bournemouth yet but no time to wait and see

    In future I plan to rotate the defence by adding morgan and richards to the mix

    I have 2.8 in the bag with wild card played this week. Can buy players like cabaye, barkley and even Ayew but the easy upcoming fixtures made me choose Mehrez and Redmond (Gomis covering for Ayew)
