Today’s action concludes with a fitting climax, as we drop in on the champions at Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea go into the opening day clash with Swansea having won 15 of their 19 home league matches, without suffering defeat.

However, Garry Monk’s side turn up having claimed all three points at Old Trafford on the opening day of last season and will be looking to improve on their performances against the Blues: they shipped nine goals to them last term, suffering 5-0 and 4-2 defeats.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      courtois is only banned for one game. professional foul so only 1 game ban misses the city match which you probably would have benched him anyway. so dont waste a transfer

    17 with to 4 go! Such a poor start to the season.

    Especially when I can remember back to the season opener a two years ago when chelsea had a double game week in week 1. I captained Ivan for that and remember getting 40+ points from him alone!!!

      He was completely unmarked when Ayew tried to curl a worldie around Begovic in the 83rd. If Ayew had layed him off Shelvey would have had time to tee up one of his classic screamers. When they are on-target they always go in.

    I think these chip things are silly. One of my mates in the league played it, had mahrez on the bench, so wrong on all levels.

    Last season he would got only 17 the chip given him 38pts with still 5 to play. 🙁

    As a Mahrez owner already, happy with the points from an enabler like him, (my 3rd mid, 4th is Sinclair!). But i'd be surprised if he ended up as anywhere near my squad come the day I switch things around or get more team value.

    You get these GW1-3 flashes in the pan every season it seems like. Only reason realistically why I even own Mahrez was because I wanted Aguero, Rooney, Tekkers, Sanchez and Hazard. He was the 5.5m mid on the FFS watchlist...
