    As a Rooney owner I'm not thrilled but satisfied by what I saw.

    Not sure about the other 41.9% who own him, but I own him not because he is a prolific striker, but because United are among the top 4 teams in the league, they need to and will have to win games to be there, they need to score goals to win games and as we saw yesterday by design or chance Rooney will be involved in most of those goals.

    I dont see it as a lucky assist after a poor game, I see it as exactly what I expected, him being involved in most United goals, because there is no other option.

        Nope, him being the one receiving the ball from young and staring at an open net was a good thing.

        Also helps that him and United were a bit meh and he still gets 5 points. I'll take a poor performance with 5 points, all day over being brilliant and 2 points.

      Assist here and there just isn't enough for 10.5m priced player, I need at least 10 point gameweeks from these kind of players. That's why I'll immediately do Aguero -> Rooney when Kun is able to play at least 45minutes. Rooney just isn't that kind of player anymore who scores over 15 goals per season, Aguero is.

        Haz didnt get even an assist yesterday or a CS point. That definitely isnt enough for a 11.5m priced player. Dropped him already, have you?

      Rooney was poor, but what United attacker wasn't?

      Mata, Depay, Young all were average at best. It was a boring game with not many chances. Everyone's allowed a bad game and I'm baffled to see so many people knee-jerking him out of there sides (or considering to get rid) due to that one game. He is my captain next week against Villa and I wouldn't be surprised if he and the other United attackers run riot.

      I should (hopefully) get 24 points from defence + GK cs's unsure with ARS V WH but Arsenal defence looked pretty solid vs Chelsea in C.S . I'm also hoping for 2 goals from Pelle with 1 mane assist to get me to 50 pts (53 total excluding other players) + others & BPS (inc mane cs pt) also hoping others will do just as well and take me to top of leaderboard in style 😀 😎 :p

      I think we are working on a midfielder, and obviously a left-back.

      I don't think we need to add a lot, the team is great as it is without any big-money signing.

      I think he's having problems adapting to Premier League, our tactics and just in general. Who knows though.

        The PL is notoriously difficult to retain, I agree the squad is strong for the most part but a team can't afford to stand still, it needs to evolve and push on from last season.
