Tonight’s Hawthorns encounter between West Brom and Man City brings the curtain down an opening Gameweek that’s failed to live up to most managers’ expectations. Having chalked up 16 clean sheets in the season gone by, the Baggies will be looking to put the brakes on Manuel Pellegrini’s men, whilst the visitors will be buoyed by a round of results that’s already seen title rivals Chelsea and Arsenal stumble out the blocks.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

As i said rondon to wba! Amazing buy, no idea why he accepted. He played for a CL team and extremely wealthy. Guess the allure of epl is too strong

Really hard to fit both Silva and Aguero in together at this stage of the season - assuming you'll want at least one captaincy option from another team.

      Sterling to silva
      Walcott to mahrez
      Rooney to Aguero

      -4

cheers. got mahrez depay and 3 other arsenal midfielders - worked great yday.....but with my 3 strikers being rooney benteke and sakho i'm struggling to work out which mf to leave out.
so thanks, very likely to go aoa then

I think all out attack will come in handy when the defensive injuries start to pile up but there are more exciting transfers you'd rather make. I normally end up delaying defensive transfers because I can bench them easily and this enevitably ends up with doing a defensive transfer so I can play a full 11 rather than a transfer of rather do such as bringing in an in form player against a weak side. This chip would allow you to delay the defensive transfer in this situation

I think those two are the best worth saving for DGW's (as there will be at least two).

The double captain score is probably the least important as it's tricky to predict when a player will blank/return a big haul.

    4. crushro
      • 16 Years

I would keep bench boost for DGW - if wildcard week before could have 15 DGW players

I don't think I'd use all out attack for a DGW. I'd use it either before or after a DGW to help get a full team out that had been constructed around maximizing the DGW. Because if you're going to want to maximize that DGW bench boost you'll end up with a REALLY broken team.
