Game week 2 arrives at its conclusion this evening as Liverpool welcome Bournemouth to Merseyside for the first ever league meeting between the two clubs. After a multitude of armband options failed us again, many will be looking to Reds attack to save yet another disappointing round of results for Fantasy managers.

Certainly, Liverpool carried plenty of threat in front of their own fans last season. Despite scoring only 30 times at Anfield in 2014/15, Brendan Rodgers’ men fired a total of 331 attempts – only City and Arsenal managed more efforts when it came to home encounters.

As for Bournemouth, they arrive at Anfield boasting a fine away record in their Championship winning season, claiming eight victories and suffering just five defeats on the road, with a goal difference of plus 30.

Delving into last week’s data, though, tonight’s two sides managed just one big chance and five shots on target between them in Gameweek 1, suggesting that both sides will need to improve in the final third should they have ambitions for three points.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Of course you can afford a price drop that's just silly. I've been there at both Sterling's games thus far and he has looked very good and been unlucky not to rack up some points. City are on fire and their fixtures are sweet he could explode at any time and very easily undrop. If he doesn't outscore both Payet and Siggy I'll eat my hat.

Having said that - I've just got rid of him on a wildcard.

yea 135 minutes in ... one mediocre game at home, as a team they burnt a few good chances, and now away at Pool, very limited sample to make a conclusion.

regarding the 'hype' - he was very productive in Championship so some were expecting he might replicate some success in the PL and be a bargain

Dont think so so far. Henderson doing his fair share for max and Clyne is a threat. Another goal for The Big Belgian and it's sealed (barring Henderson assist). Best thing I've got from the first 45 mins is that if required, Henderson before Milner always.

That first half was a great example of a small club getting screwed over when visiting a big club.

Oh because of course I wouldn't have mentioned it had it not been sour grapes. Go to your room and play with your toys.

Should have been 0-0, none of them should have been goals.

Soft and debatable agreed, but you can't push down with both arms. Right decision for me. Liverpools goal should have been an easy offside decision.
