Manchester United once again beckon in the new Gameweek, this time playing host to Newcastle United in a 12.45pm kick-off. The Red Devils go in search of their third successive victory, while the Magpies look to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat against Swansea last time out.

Man United recorded just six clean sheets at Old Trafford in the previous campaign but have yet to concede this season. Louis van Gaal’s charges restricted opposing teams to just one big chance over the opening two Gameweeks, underlining their disciplined start at the back.

In contrast, the Magpies have been breached on four occasions already and will have to do without suspended right-back Daryl Janmaat during their visit to Manchester. Those Fantasy managers who’ve invested in their forward line will be concerned by the fact that no side has fashioned fewer attempts inside the box (seven) than the Tynesiders.

            You're labouring under the apprehension that - currently - I want to get RID of Darmian.

            I don't, and nor did I say that. I indicated he's easily shippable (price).
            I'm happy with Darmian! I was aware he was a YC magnet before I brought him in. Admittedly I did mean to click Shaw *last week* and still can't explain why I didn't. But Darmian got me a 7 point haul - scoring the same as Shaw despite a YC... So who am I to argue with that

            The point of my post is to highlight Januzaj and Rooney's inability to play football.

              The point to my post had nothing to do with Januzaj or Rooney. It was to the fact that you blamed being "talked out of it" for your reason as to not having Shaw and going with Darmian instead.

    All this hating on Depay.
    I think he is doing really well.

    He is having a go 100%.
    Getting in to great positions through his industry and skill.
    Give him some time. He hasn't been too far off from scoring.

    He is looking the most likely to create or score ATM I think.

    This is the bluntest and most subdued I've seen Utd. look for a long time. However, I can't quite tell if it's that is because Newcastle are simply competing for the ball, as opposed to standing off of their opponents, or whether Utd. are just this toothless under LVG.

    Maybe they should have tried to sign Pedro! 😀

        Didn't even think of him! They really need someone to run at the opposition and the space will come for the rest of them. Herrera would be a great candidate for just that, given what we've seen of him.
