    Off topic:

    Anyone got any phone advice? My 2 year old iPhone 5 is on the verge of death - cracked screen and terrible battery life - and I'm considering moving on from iOS. Got an android tablet so familiar with that and iOS. Not so familiar with windows phone but fairly quick at picking thing up. If you can make an argument for a good value option, I'm all ears but I'm not really on a tight budget.

      Don't get Samsung... terrible software.

      My HTC 1 M8 is the best phone I've had.

        M8 was epic but the problem with that is that it's outdated and the M9 really isn't that great. S6 the far better phone even with the Touchwiz software.

          I had an S3 and Samsung are about 9 months behind the latest Android updates. Also the bloatware was horrendous. Never again.

            I had an s3 until the s6 and I have to say they've greatly improved on the Touchwiz. Have removed the minimal bloatware it had which was actually mostly Vodafone's rather than Samsung's.

          Unless you're buying on one of those 24month contracts. I'd look at previous generation - the cost saving vs the extras you get is worth it to me. I really liked the Samsung note 4 when I had a play, but an old Samsung Mega 6.3 does everything I need at a decent speed.

      Samsung Galaxy S6 since it's going to drop in price with the new ones coming out. Not a "smartphone buff" but i've tried it and it's by far the best smartphone in the world, especially for the screen and the camera. Of course it depends on how much you're willing to spend for a smartphone but since you have an iPhone 5 i guess you're willing to spend.
