Help! Need advice. I plan on using my WC this week to bring in KUN!

In order to do so I need to either.

    A. Sell mata for hoolahan
    B. Sell Kdb for cabaye

    Midfield is already

    Sanchez-payet-marhez-

    A. Kdb and hoolahan
    B. Mata and cabaye.

Option a will generate more points but will be less balanced
Opinion b would allow be to play a 3-5-2.

    Thoughts!?!?!

Thanks! Currently I have martial - Vardy and pelle up front.

Is the more balanced approach too conservative?

If you are on a WC have you though about rejigging it more to try to have all of those. What would Ranieri do I ask?

        Lol!

I really want KUN! And have been saving my WC to do it.

The question is whether a more balanced midfield with 5 is better than 4 high scoring midfielders.

        Sanchez-marhez-payet-mata-cabaye
        Martial- KUN- Vardy

        Or

        Sanchez-Marquez-payet-KDB- hoolahan
        Martial- KUN-Vardy

Have a look at the team linked to my profile and you will see what I think is a balanced team.

Of your teams A is the better imo. I am not sold on Martial myself but maybe we will have a little more clarity on that tomorrow. Have you considered Lukaku in that spot? He seems to be doing well at the moment.

i have. I picked up martial at 8 and have already made .2. Unfortunalry to bring in KUN i have to sacrifice pele or marital. And since marital is worth more im sacrifing pele.

Ill Check out your link. Thanks for advice. Good luck!

Just because someone has risen in price is no reason to keep him. You can bank it and move on.

True. I'll wait and hold on martial.

I saw your ranking. Very impressive!! I'll take your advice and stick with kdb over Mata!

I have just been lucky. Go with your instincts is the best way. There is nothing worse than making the wrong decision based upon what someone else says. At least when you decide it you can only blame yourself.

    Butland, Ruddy
    Kolarov, Cedric, Evans, Huth, Francis
    Sanchez, Payet, Ayew, Mane, Mahrez
    Aguero, Martial, Wilson
    2 FT, 0.2 ITB

How the dickens can I work KDB into that lineup? I can't see any way other than downgrading Ayew and upgrading one of Payet or Mane, but I really want to keep them both.

will be interesting how this develops if it continues to be so poor. he doesnt take kindly to questions from the media targeting him, and it will just mount up more and more before one over the top meltdown.

I've gone triple Swansea, City and double Leics too this season.

Been regularly frustrated aside from City v New and Swa v Mun.

The day I double up on Leics and Mahrez get's randomly dropped kinda sums it up.

    Did Silva>De Bruyne:

    -Goalscorer, creator
    -Triple rise likely
    -Plays more forward
    -Set pieces
-Silva is fantastic but has more secondary assists, not selfish

Really sideways and could bite me in the ass but De Bruyne seems more explosive.

Read that Mike Gordon doesn't want him at Liverpool so FSG aren't keen as we'd expect them to be. I'd love Klopp at Liverpool but if the owners don't want him, they won't get him

You've got such a young squad that Klopp seems like the best fit given his record of developing players at Dortmund and fitting them into a successful system for the long haul.

Ancelotti and Mourinho in particular spend excessively on finished products, something which Liverpool can't do and don't have, currently.

        1. Davido989
          • 15 Years
          10 years, 2 months ago

Agreed. As above though, FSG aren't keen on Klopp for whatever reason. Things can change quick though. Klopp is the best fit and would unite the fan base. Ancelotti would settle the ship and leave once he realises we don't pay big wages.

No idea. I think we should just sit tight. Don't have to worry about his price drop for a while.

My buyer's remorse after getting Sako in GW6 was true. I fear I've come to the end of the line with him, already.

Martial> aguero and gomis> pelle for a -8 pt hit!! Is it sensible?

I think I chatted with Wakey in pre season about sleeper defences picking up.

      CPA
      TOT
      STO

Look like they may just be turning a corner compared with last season and the start of this one. All with managers whom have a history of value clean sheets with CPA and STO also Pulisified defences.

Last place in my league had only 4 players today; Kun (c) Payet, Cabeye, KdB for 89 pts. Mahrez out out really hurt him as he has Vardy first sub.

It wasn't wholly though. It looke like he was about 5% off earlier in the day. Some people bought him later.

        Ah well.
Have 2 Mill in the bank so prob better off teasing it out instead of rushing it anyway..

I remember at 1 point here yesterday during the 1st half- KDB was getting lots of abuse on here.. (very poor etc)
Is he definitely the real deal and bags better than Silva who is just coming back to full fitness and only getting started himself?

Silvas ownership is also low so with the upcoming fixtures he could be a great differential. Everyone is going kdb, so silva will be a proper differential

Was poor in the 1st half was he not and only got going when they were 3-1 up..

Just trying to convince myself Silva is still the better option and KDB is slightly overrated..

Nuh uh. Virtually every City player was below par in the first half. And Sterling, kept getting into KDB's positions. Once he went off, the attack fluently created chances and scored goals. KDB last 3 games, 1 goal, 1 goal, 1 goal 2 assists. Overrated. 😉

just as I'm about to get KDB, his value went up by 0.1. but gonna go for him anyway, form and fixtures look too tasty to give it a miss.

      Got a dilemma:

      This is my front 8

      Sanchez Mahrez Mane Payet
      Vardy Martial Aguero

I want to get KDB- means i have to get Payet or Mane out. Should i get KDB or save FT?

Should I transfer out Sterling or Coutinho for him..?

Sterling has the fixture but Cout has the form...

        Cech (mccarthy)
        Darmian, Kolarov, Azpi (Bassong, 4.0)
        Ayew, Payet, Silva, Mahrez (Wanyama)
        Lukaku, Pelle, Aguero

Scored quite well this week (starting with pelle was a great choice) but not really sure what trades to make? Ayew, azpi maybe?
