          1. Shifty
            11 years, 20 days ago

He was so convinced Aguero is not worth it this season. Wanted Sturridge and used the extra to get Sanchez in instead of letting it rot in bank.

And yes, of course I encouraged him when he asked for my opinion. 4 season main rival.

No Chelsea approach looking good through 8 weeks.

    1 Clean sheet.
Willian top scorer via two 'fluky' free kicks.
    Hazard averaging just 4ppg.
    Prices dropping like flies.

Can someone explain the BPS whereby Fernandinho gets 1 BP over Silva?

    Fernandinho 1 assist 1 YC
Silva 2 assists (and ran the show)

    1. copps
      11 years, 20 days ago

I think silva lost possession of the ball too often. But he looked very good, great game especially that he's just back from injury

    2. Davido989
      11 years, 20 days ago

      bald head = 30 baps

    3. Transient Anus

Easily explained. Stupid stats based bonus system

    4. Jay_
      11 years, 20 days ago

Because he assisted Agueros first and opened the floodgates for us all 😀 but honestly I don't know that's a good point

      1. The Left Duke #3
        11 years, 20 days ago

Ya I'm not too bothered obviously with Kun (c) but I thought a YC would go against you. When Silva went central, the game changed even though the stats will show Kun

    5. Hanked
      11 years, 20 days ago

Because he got subbed on 75 minutes and couldn't accumulate any more trivial stat base BPS, leaving the door open for 15 minutes for someone to edge in front of him. Still very surprised Fernandinho managed to rack up 32.

I'm liking Silva more now, think that with the quality delivery from KDB he's likely to get to the end of few of those. Now confirmed No.10 player for ManCity, surely those who have him shouldn't sell. Goals should likely come sooner rather than later.
    Nice little differential atm too.

    1. Parm
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member
      11 years, 20 days ago

Silva is the heart of the City attack but being that doesn't guarantee you fantasy points, just ask Luka Modric during his Tottenham heyday. I feel de Bruyne has that little edge in front of goal, a little more instinct.

      1. Davido989
        11 years, 20 days ago

        this

      2. Sz21
        11 years, 20 days ago

KDB was barely involved until City got to 3-1 though yesterday.

I am wary he poses a bigger Set Piece threat and plays slightly more forward but Silva is making them all tick!
Once he improves his fitness too he will become the great Fantasy Pick that he always has been.

      3. Rolls-Royce
        11 years, 20 days ago

de Bruyne's shot to goal ratio is unsustainable.

      4. Rolls-Royce
        11 years, 20 days ago

between Silva scored 12 last season. Nothing to suggest he wont repeat it again.

        1. Parm
          • Fantasy Football Scout Member
          11 years, 20 days ago

Look at his goal record throughout his time at City: 4, 6, 4, 7, 12.

Unsustainable (Like de Bruyne's goal ratio) 😉

He's a good option for a steady flow of assists and a goal now and then but I like de Bruyne's explosiveness at the same price.

          1. Rolls-Royce
            11 years, 20 days ago

Yup both will be great option and score similar points. Triple trio is what i'm thinking now to get by ditching Kolarov soon.

    2. Davido989
      11 years, 20 days ago

In real life, Silva is great.

But for fpl: he doesn't shoot enough, loses possession a bit so affects baps, and certainly could score more goals.

      1. copps
        11 years, 20 days ago

He only scored 4 goals less than sanchez last season, and also picked up 12 assists. In far fewer minutes. His PPG is great, he can produce big 15pt+ hauls too.

        1. Rolls-Royce
          11 years, 20 days ago

This exactly my thoughts.Given that it wasn't a good season for City as a whole.

          1. copps
            11 years, 20 days ago

He has also looked amazing so far this season, better than last season. Been very impressed with him in all the games he has played. Im keeping him at least for now. He is a reliable pick and has been making runs into the box.

    3. copps
      11 years, 20 days ago

Yeah im keeping him. His ownership is super low and he's explosive too. Great differential. City have looked so poor without him.

So a lovely Jump on the overall but down on the leagues that matter (you guys, you pros) FFScout and LMS, so my ? Is, is it now time to get hold of some Saints after resisting since middle of last season apart from Targett, who was more financial than anything else. I thought Bertrand got forward very well or is Mane the man? All of which are better than our rugby team or the super Bees, random drunken rantmans!

Yeah I have my eye on him. Could be my Mahrez replacement in GW11

Trouble is I need someone sub 6.2 as an enabler for KDB before he rises again. So it may be subject to tonight for me, which could well be a mistake.

See how he goes in their game first I guess.

Yeah sorry, that's what I meant by subject to tonight (timezone).

Looks like 73 is quite rubbish these parts. Just happy I've got a captain goal.

5 to go helps. C'mon Coutinho Ayew Skrtel Sanchez Naughton!

It's taken half a decade but I think Aguero's goals now means I'm over not having Berbatov's 5 goals v Blackburn.

    Hi guys,

    Did -4 to do Ighalo>Pelle and Hazard>Mane.

I had enough of hazard and lost 0.2 on him. Simply not consistent enough. Should i take any more hits to sort out defence?

    McCarthy, Hennessey
    Evans, Kolarov, Nyom, Gomez, Targett
    Mane, KdB, Sanchez, Mahrez, 4.3
    Aguero, Pelle, Martial

Pelle and Martial aside, I feel content with 3-5-2 and Ighalo as my third striker, but wondering what other's are feeling.
