Just ten days after celebrating three-figure tallies, many Fantasy managers are now left counting the flags as the international break casualties mount.

Sergio Aguero leads the army of crocks. The City striker’s twanging hamstring has taken the shine off his incredible 25-point haul and it’s his demise from hero to zero that dominates the chatter in this latest ScoutCast episode.

With Granville struck down by sniffles, Luke aka “D1sable” steps into the breach to join Jonty and myself to take up the challenge of weighing up the Aguero stand-ins.

We also take time to assess two contrasting managerial appointments, greeting Jurgen Klopp’s thrilling heavy metal football, whilst mustering a nod to Big Sam’s bid to produce a Black Cats escape routine.

This latest episode was first broadcast live via our YouTube channel on Wednesday evening. You can view the full broadcast via the larger player below (much as we love Luke, we do eventually shift the camera from him).

For the edited and slightly more refined audio experience, you’ll need this link or the stream available via small player.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for the heads-up on future episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

You have the midfield to do that but I'd be thinking about Aguero > Pelle or Costa and having Ighalo as back up.

Blatant re-post as have 30 mins break at work. As my penance i will attempt to mass reply to all (cheers for the 2 replies last page)
Im thinking its time for some fun. I understand the general sentiment will be no but-

    Butland
    Kolorov/ Williams/ Richards
    KDB/ Mata/ Maherez/ Sanchez
    Aguero/ Vardy/ Martial

    McCarthy/ Westwood/ Gomez/ Target

    0FT 0.3 ITB

    Plan A was
    Aguero to Costa (C)
    Gomez to Bert
Nice and sensible, sorts out a bit of my defense

Plan B is tempting me so much
    Aguero to Costa
    Martial to Pelle
(if Kolorv fit, Bert in next week)

I am actually excited by B and un-enthused by A.

Is B a mental move? (both options -8, im ok with that)

Hey guys I stupidly took the risk of a -4 before the international games and now I'm left with the below:

    Myhill , McCarthy
    Kolarov*, Darmian, Ward*, Richards, Targett
    Sanchez*, KDB, Payet, Mahrez, Hoolahan,
    Aguero*, Pelle, Vardy

    £1.1m itb

Yes. Can't leave that muchmoney on bench. otherwise you're palying Hoolahan as a five man midfield or bringing in a fourth defender and three of yours may be dead.

Aguero to somebody for a minus four isn't nuts. Aguero dropped .1 already and will end up costing you if he drops again I'd guess.

    Butland (McCarthy)
Targett - Dawson - Kolarov (Richards, Simpson)

Sure, cheeky, but Villa sux. I'm not sure I'd captain him. I'd probably go with KDB of your options, but if you're gonna bring in the big Costa, why not captain to try to recoup part of your -4. Could pay off big

Yeah but unless he's planning to wildcard soon, gotta look a little more long term than the next two GWs. Everton have amazing fixtures from gw11-20, and no one buys a player with the intention of selling them soon after.

Plus I don't think Man U at home is a bad fixture for Lukaku at all

Doesn't he? United, Arsenal (Away) in the next two. Umm these are generally considered unfavourable fixtures by FPL logic. Or am I missing something?

Because fts are a valuable commodity and if were talking about fixtures, I don't think he has a particularly bad one this weekend if I'm honest

              3-0
              2-0

              0-1

    ....................Butland
    ......Williams - Darmian - Kolarov
    Mahrez - KDB(c) - Sanchez - Payet
    ..........Pelle - Martial - Vardy

    McCarthy; Sinclair, Richards, Gomez

    5.2m itb, no FT left

looking at Gomez > Bavies next and then ideally I save the following week and then do Sinclair + Darmian > Wanyama + Coleman

Bavies definitely next on my agenda too but will wait until after EL game on Thursday to make sure he's still 1st choice.

we don't know anything new and many have speculated it's only a cramp..we'll see tomorrow though!

considering him out instead of Darmian if he gets booked vs Everton

Fair enough, but I'm not sure Everton have enough speed to guarantee that Darmian will get a card. Maybe if Barkley takes him on. Most of his cards seem to come against speed burners on flanks. Deulofeu could torch him with some stepovers if he gets the start.

    4-4-2

    Cech
    Bellerin - Dawson - Kompany - Azpilicueta
    Alexis - KDB - Payet - Mahrez
    Lukaku - Vardy

    My questions are:
    - who is the best captain choice?
    - should I start with Ayew (instead of who)?

    Thanks for feedback 🙂
