Just ten days after celebrating three-figure tallies, many Fantasy managers are now left counting the flags as the international break casualties mount.

Sergio Aguero leads the army of crocks. The City striker’s twanging hamstring has taken the shine off his incredible 25-point haul and it’s his demise from hero to zero that dominates the chatter in this latest ScoutCast episode.

With Granville struck down by sniffles, Luke aka “D1sable” steps into the breach to join Jonty and myself to take up the challenge of weighing up the Aguero stand-ins.

We also take time to assess two contrasting managerial appointments, greeting Jurgen Klopp’s thrilling heavy metal football, whilst mustering a nod to Big Sam’s bid to produce a Black Cats escape routine.

This latest episode was first broadcast live via our YouTube channel on Wednesday evening. You can view the full broadcast via the larger player below (much as we love Luke, we do eventually shift the camera from him).

For the edited and slightly more refined audio experience, you’ll need this link or the stream available via small player.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for the heads-up on future episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    On wildcard.

I am in major doubt over who to have in defence.I had:

    Ruddy / Butland
    Azpi / Williams / Huth / Sagna / Targett

    Then did this:

    Ruddy -> Myhill
    Sagna -> Janmaat

..and now I'm struggling what to do with the rest of defence.think maybe leaving Williams and Azpi could be good options, but who to get in instead of Huth and Targett?
    1.7 ITB.

any quality suggestions are highly acceptable.

btw. I am satisfied with this front 8:

    KdB / Alexis / Mahrez / Payet / Hoolahan
    Vardy / Sturridge / Pelle

Is it mental to be getting rid of Mahrez after he didn't play last time out? I don't have Vardy but want to get him on WC, dint want to go over board on Leicester coverage.

I don't think its mental, maybe a bit premature. I still think mahrez will punish non owners. Only when he starts though, which I reckon will be every 3/4.

If he didn't play vs Norwich because Leicester wanted to be more defensive then it's also doubtful he plays away to saints.

However, Ranieri did say he originally planned to bring mahrez on but it just didn't pan out that way

Man Utds headed goal chances conceded and Lukaku with 4 headed attempts. That seems to be the most likely goal scenario given how the number of chances Utd concede in the box

yeah, but i mean in terms that if he is to score, maybe it's more likely he scores from a header than a having a shot with his peg in the box?

I think there are a lot of skills other than size that constitute 'heading ability', so I'd say with those stats he's probably unlikely the threaten that much from headers, personally.

Highly unlikely Norwich get a CS away at Newcastle, good chance West Brom can shut out Sunderland

Not at all mate. I hate going -4 for defenders (if Kola is out i will have to consider it), but dawson isnt the best option by a longshot.

      Van Dijk / Bertrand / Cedric / Toby / Jagielka / Soure , etc...

Not sure about that. Pell has a habit of pulling that rabbit out of the hat from time to time.

At home to Bournemouth, with plenty of players for the attacking 3 roles, I'm 99% sure he'll be 'deep'. Of course he'll be playing pretty far forward anyway.

I'd guessed Navas and Bony would be the replacements with KDB moving into Silva's position and Yaya staying where he is. Just my assumption though. He will be on pens though.

He played in the hole last time Silva was out. So, that should be his position with KDB on the flank.

That's not even a rule - the rule is don't take a hit for a def if you can field 3 playing defs

        Which makes complete sense

        1. Wilshere Knowledge
          • 12 Years
          10 years, 6 months ago

          Not really.

I took a hit for Soure in for Huth for back to back CS's a few weeks ago, I took a hit this week to do Francis (away to Man City) to Gabriel (Watford).

It can pay back in 1 week, but transfers should really be longer term, imo.

Io could Coleman for the long term but I don't fancy any others. Bellerin could pay it back straight away but he might not play and I don't fancy him long term anyway.
