I've the same dilemma. Can't really get rid because of those fixtures. Seem likely to be punishingly obvious in hindsight
He's good on the ball, but bad off the ball. So in the easier fixtures when United have large amounts of possession I'm quite hopeful he can perform.
Pens is a bonus.But equally the hard games are the games where he'll have the most space to exploit, as good teams are less likely to sit behind the ball and more likely to attack us, leaving holes.
Mata isn't exactly a pacey player that exploits space. Defences that sit back favour him imo.
Would be interested to see the stats to settle this, v interesting. Agreed pace isn't his weapon but imagine him to exploit space with his intelligence and distribution. We'll soon see either way

could be a good shout... I think Kane goal scoring is closely tied in with Eriksen's form, which looks to be significantly improving. So yeah might be worth a punt, to be honest with strikers anyone is a punt at the moment so just go with your gutt.

The situation that we are in has created this negative atmosphere. The performance was pretty decent in the first half. Second half was bad. An away defeat to Stoke in the cup on penalties isn't as bad as people on here are making it to be. A loss to Liverpool should be dangerous for him. Don't think today meant much.
