"If Jose were to go, we could still just pinch him [Klopp] from Liverpool anyway and pay off his contract."

Is Courtois really number 1 again? Yes I know he played well, but let's consider a few things:

    - He was poor for the goal today.
    - Begovic has done nothing to warrant being dropped.
    - 4 clean sheets when Begovic has played, 0 when Courtois is in goal.

As soon as he was back from injury he was put into the team so I'd say he's number 1.

Tobi. mercy, again another assist and the guy has bonus magnet. i went w/ rose to save the extra .2 and thot rose will have much more asist/goal threat, yet less bonus potential.

anyone else go rose over tobi?

Cheers mate. Just one of those ones where I am still annoyed because a decent cap would have made it really good. Wanted to cap Ighalo but hate captaining when I am at the game - I can't take it if we lose and my captain blanks in front of my eyes...

          • 11 Years
          10 years, 2 months ago

That would be proper kick in the teeth. But all turned out good I guess. 🙂

What do you think of Deeney? Saw him got a monster BPS while doing exactly the same as Ighalo (assist, goal and YC).

          1. GHB
            • 15 Years
            10 years, 2 months ago

Deeney is our soul of the team, works hard every game and commitment is top class. Would probably say Ighalo still better fantasy wise, said at the start he will score around 15 goals this season and looking more now. Deeney will have a few dry patches still where as Ighalo will score consistently. Spot kicks having a big impact for Deeney at the moment and if he does score his BPS will be high due to his work off ball, tackling and set up play etc

You thinking of bringing him in?

            1. Van Klinkert Delarosa
              • 11 Years
              10 years, 2 months ago

I'm thinking of buying Deeney and doubling up next week against Sunderland as I have 2FT to waste.

Although, the fixtures after that might be tricky.

                10 years, 2 months ago

If you have no pressing issues then maybe use for next week but our fixtures are pretty hard over Xmas like you say.

Only Williams right now, although he should be leaving this week using one of those FT.

Yup, that fixtures not helping, plus I might need to wait for midweek game before making any decision, I guess.

Anyway, thanks for your input mate. 🙂 Watford are having a stormer this season. 🙂

Just checked your team out, still a few to play so should be a good week for you.

Yeh Williams should go, but if Monk goes which he will soon they may bring in someone who could sort them out.

No worries. Enjoying it, thought we would stay up but never expected us to do this well. Playing decent football as well, the away game at Stoke we were immense.

Hope so, although not having any Liverpool worries me a bit. And here hoping for another 3-2 scoreline for Everton v Palace match.

Good points in regards Swansea, new manager could revive them although I'm not really fond about their fixtures. And kinda set my eyes on Toby for Williams replacement.

Yup, you guys been playing good football, I was expecting more of defensive solidity, but looks like you have been balancing attacking and defending well. Plus, Leicester doing well kinda put you nicely flying under the radar (in a good way). 🙂

Thinking of a couple of different ways to get Ramsey with my 2 FT. What do you think?

    1) If Kun is out again. Kun & Lanzini -> Vardy & Ramsey
    2) If Kun is fit. Dann & Deulofeu -> Evans & Ramsey

    Current team

    Gomes, Hennessey
    Bellerin, Rose, Moreno, Dann, SImpson
    KDB, Ozil, Mahrez, Deulofeu, Lanzini
    Kun, Lukaku, Kane

Bellerin, van Dijk, Moreno / Nyom, Muniesa

    Kane, Lukaku, Vardy

Rose against Janmaat, who never defends, could be tasty.

specifically january? i think he'll be sacked fairly soon if things don't improve. i'd imagine today has slapped ambramovich hard in the face. so hard not to feel sorry for the multibillionaire megalomaniac

If Murray could nail that striker spot, he could be a decent shout as a replacement for Ighalo considering both Bournemouth & Watford's fixture swings coincide with each other come Gw17 (could argue for GW18). Could always just rotate a Bournemouth milf & Ighalo/Deeney as well I suppose.

Ighalo: (LIV, che, TOT, MCI, sou)
Murray: (wba, CRY, ars, lei, WHM)
