The Charlton game last week was the most tense. ended 3-2. We just keep battling back. Having James Wilson (a real life scoring Man U striker) helps, as does Bobby Zamora being loved - he always performs better when he know he's revered. Solly March went off injured though this weekend - that's a worry.

Literally can't believe my club may be in fpl and the premier league next year.

Really good style of play. Lots of injuries but still unbeaten. We've got fighters and good loan players. Had Lingard last year as well.

Good combination of experience and youth plus have a great stadium. All adds up. Hughton is excellent at champs level though, that was never in doubt.

Looked good, but unsure because of Swansea's form still.

People lamenting bringing Kane in and captaining him: don't fall prey to hindsight bias. It was the right decision. A (relatively) in-form striker against a side that conceded 5 in their last away game. I had a feeling Newcastle would do well, but ignoring Kane would have been a huge risk.

His stats look better after today. Although he has been credited with 2 shots on target for two shots that we're going wide.

Yeh that 25 yarder was speculative at best. He just looked pretty anonymous...until he suddenly pops up in the defensive third.

I agree with the Cromulent One. Captaining Kane this week was a perfectly sensible move (I did it too). Sure, game by game, the signal can get lost in the noise. But it is is a percentage game, and over 38 games, the signal emerges. Good choices will pay off often, but not always. I'm still happy with my choice. Onward...

it was defo a sensible move but as a non owner i found it easy to disregard him as a transfer in.
He was inches away from tapping in a Rose cross to be fair and Lamela had a great chance from his flick on
