This is very different, Fathy was old when he went for "trials" at Arsenal. He wasn't an established player in Europe and he rarely improved his skill. Unlike El Neny, he's young, much room for improvement and established in Europe. Perfect fit potentially an equal to Coquelin.

Stats are great, it was the reason i picked Ighalo in gw 7 when everyone bought Martial(triple rise) for example.Depends how you look at stats and value them. Sometimes FPL players hold on to players too long because they're underlying stats are good, goals imminent.
And it actually works out in their favour more often than not imo.
Which is why a Bolasie is better than a Mane as far as differentials go, IMO. He has shown at least a bit of form lately.
Cheaper, too. I guess everyone has different ways of selecting players, part of the game.

To be fair Balders, he's clearly in a test phase. I don't have TL's standing in the FPL community but I don't think I'm misleading anyone who reads my blog with my tickers. I'm testing them too and publishing a summary of the results. I leave it up to the reader to decide if they have any value. Some weeks I draw on them heavily for my own decisions, other weeks I draw on other FPL knowledge to make my decision. I've always said anything I write is only one more view in a lot of different variables an FPL manager should be considering.
I've also told you in the past to take your own models word or go back improve it until you can Diva 🙂

I was already going to captain Mahrez and it was nice to see Bonkers back it up. However, it does help if you hit confirm on the armband decision at some point in the four or five days after you select your captain! It felt almost as bad as doing a Fenley...

Boxing Day stats - just a bit of fun
In the past two seasons of Boxing Day fixtures, there have been 7 home wins, 12 away wins and just 1 draw
Papiss Cisse has scored on Boxing Day for each of the past 3 seasons. Wayne Rooney has scored 3 in the last 2.
Arsenal's didn't play a Boxing Day fixture for 4 years from 2009 (two postponements and two changed for tv). The re-arranged game against West Ham in 2012 finished 5-1, Giroud (2) and Podolski (1 goal, 3 assists) took the points.
Aston Villa haven't scored on Boxing Day since 2010.
