      He is due - but - I brought him in 2 GWs ago, (c) both weeks and well...too many other points around tho and have Ramsey too, so with 2 FTs this GW, I'm offloading for a bit more je ne se crois - Ozil, KDB, or Arnie perhaps. If Giroud wasn't playing then i'd keep but nothing in the last 2 games convinces.

          Have you actually looked at who he played against in those away games? All but one were against top half teams, and the one that wasn't ended up 0-0, he could hardly be blamed for that.

                yeah he scored at spurs. just seems a marked difference between his home (won't say form) points and his away points.
                as you say, tough fixtures he's had, but the other thing (which isn't his fault at all) is city aren't scoring away at all, so no matter if he's playing well if the likes of sterling aguero bony don't put them away it restricts his away points scoring

      If Aguero returns to form I might sacrifice KDB to fund him. But watching tonight KDB put so may shots on a platter. His teammates just were rubbish at finishing and tbf Leicester defended well.

      He's famine or feast - but scores well overall so you have to put up with the famine part. It makes him a quite risky captain, though - which is not what you want for 11M. But when he comes good, it's a rank booster.

        Anyone remember the big rolling argument in Ronaldo's last(?) season? People were saying that he was ruining the game as everyone just captained him every week for guaranteed points, even though he cost 14 million.

        Having a load of players doing pretty much the same all season for no more than 9 m each puts that into perspective really.

        It was indeed. Don't agree with people saying it was a mistake though, as might as well label every captain fail you've had this season as a mistake. I wouldn't mind captaining him most weeks in the form Ozil is in right now. Creating chances on a plate, left right and centre. City players look iffy away from home. Everton and Spurs is a tough fixture to call. Vardy and Mahrez are the alternatives but i just fancy Walcott home to Newcastle that much more. All or nothing move

      under-performers are aplenty in midfield (ie Ramsey, Hazard, Barkely). There's space in midfield. It's the front three that's crowded.

        I dunno if Ramsey and Hazard belong there. Not many own the latter, and Ramsey was a big bandwagon on here going into the Bou game. So surely people would be giving him another chance and not being so quick to write him off yet. Granted, he looks the easiest to sell after this week though

          True. It depends on how fond your memories of those sweet sweet fpl points that Payet was reliably raking in before he got injured though. Potentially worth sacrificing someone who is getting you points but not many.
