Palace expect Yohan Cabaye to be fit for this evening’s encounter with Villa. Liverpool’s problems at centre-half could be easing up, Bournemouth are still waiting on clearance for a couple of new boys ahead of West Ham’s visit, whilst Dimitri Payet is almost certain to start at Dean Court tonight. Here’s the news from the press conferences so far…

Yohan Cabaye is expected to be fit for Palace’s clash with Villa, despite picking up a knock. Yannick Bolasie and Dwight Gayle remain on the sidelines, whilst Connor Wickham is back in training but not match fit.

Micah Richards “should” recover from the ankle knock sustained against Wycombe in the weekend FA Cup draw, Remi Garde has confirmed. Alan Hutton and Carlos Sanchez are both ruled out of the home encounter against Palace.

Arsene Wenger has conceded that Alexis Sanchez is sidelined for Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool, though the Chilean “has a chance” of making Sunday’s home encounter with Stoke. David Ospina will need to be assessed, whilst Tomas Rosicky returns to first-team training this week.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is set to miss United’s trip to Newcastle. Louis van Gaal has also revealed he will assess his players’ energy levels for signs of fatigue before selecting his starting XI, though Adnan Januzaj isn’t ready to play after his loan to Dortmund was cancelled.

Eddie Howe has revealed he is still awaiting confirmation from the Premier League as to whether new signings Benik Afobe and Juan Iturbe will be available to face West Ham.

Claudio Ranieri is optimistic on Jamie Vardy’s chances of playing a part in Leicester’s clash with Tottenham. The Foxes have no new injury concerns, with Jeffrey Schlupp and Matty James still unavailable for selection.

Jurgen Klopp expects to have Mamadou Sakho and Kolo Toure available for the visit of Arsenal. Jordon Ibe has shrugged off a weekend illness, whilst Jordan Henderson is likely to recover from a heel problem in time for tomorrow’s match. Divock Origi has been ruled out for another month after undergoing minor knee surgery.

Fabricio Coloccini is set for a late fitness test after sustaining a hamstring problem in the weekend cup loss at Watford. Jack Colback has returned to training and could be available, whilst Kevin Mbabu and Florian Thauvin are both nursing knocks ahead of the St James’ Park clash.

Slaven Bilic has confirmed he is “99% sure” that Dimitri Payet will start for West Ham at Bournemouth tonight. Victor Moses is back in training but won’t be in the squad, whilst the Hammers boss hopes Enner Valencia and Cheikhou Kouyate will be available after both picked up knocks against Liverpool.

Sunderland have concerns over captain John O’Shea for tomorrow’s trip to Swansea. The Irishman – who picked up a calf problem during the weekend loss at Arsenal – is the Wearsiders’ only new injury worry.

Tony Pulis is hopeful that Jonas Olsson and Victor Anichebe will recover from hamstring injuries in time for the Baggies trip to Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tonight’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Tuesday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    Captain?

I've had the armband on KDB all week, but I have Aguero and he's tempting me. I know many here will say Aguero - it's clear to see from the Captains Poll. However, Aguero remains a differential in my ML - only a couple had him last week, and judging by transfers and funds ITB, not many have brought him in this week. Everybody does have KDB, though, and I think many will captain him. You obviously should captain the player you think will score most points, however I'm just not sure. Captaining KDB will 'hedge' much downside, but has little upside. Do I play it safe and cover myself with KDB? Or risk it and go all out on Aguero? I wish I were as confident in Aguero as I was at the start of the season (captained him 6x). I'm sitting relatively pretty in my ML and consistency has been key. Gambles have not generally paid off, and at this stage of the season it's about keeping pace? I've already noticed a few teams taking hits - one guy 3 points above me has taken a -4 (and I don't even think it's for Aguero), so surely there is ground to be made by just keeping it consistent? I'm inclined to think Mesut Ozil would agree.

It's all about the ML for me. So armband on KDB if I were you.

If your main objective is to win your ML and you're currently leading, you probably should go with KDB as having Aguero is differential enough.

I can't call who'll score the most of those two at all, so playing it safe looks the right move.

Don't really have a main objective, other than points - and by virtue of points I'm hoping to win ML. Not currently at the top, but not far off.

I'm thinking KDB is more sensible, but I may regret not going with Aguero.

I'm struggling this week with who to give the armband to too. I'm currently on KDB with Ozil Vice. I have the same problem I'm top of my ML with next being 14 behind, so inclined to play safe

im top of m/l i have kane luk igahlo, most have them or vardy instead of igahlo, think most will cap kane luk or kdb, so still a bit of a lottery as to who will cap who,and which one does best,,so like you im looking at aguero and to cap him, if it works will be great, if he blanks then think i can absorb loss for at least a week, only 1 or two have kun, if he grabs a couple goals then they will probably all start to get him in, so its tempting to do it first, sure they will worry more if they see i have kun and the armband on him, good luck

In a spot of bother. Current Team is:

    Butland - Adrian
    Dann - Alderweireld - Zouma
Ozil - Alli - KDB - Ya Ya - Mahrez
    Lukaku - Ighalo

    Bench - Smalling - Kolarov - Vardy

    Worth doing Vardy/KDB --> Aguero/Midfielder under 5.8 for a -8??

    Thanks
