Capping off the weekend’s play, Stoke City cross swords with Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium. The Potters won three of their previous four in the league and haven’t lost at home to the Gunners since 2010 (three wins, two draws). As for Arsenal, they’ve recorded just one victory in their last five road clashes.

Owing to a 22.2% shot-conversion rate, Stoke accrued two more goals (10) than any team over the last four Gameweeks. On the defensive end, only three sides have conceded fewer goals in home fixtures (10) than the Staffordshire outfit, while only two clubs have allowed fewer shots inside the box (61). Furthermore, no side has surrendered fewer big chances (nine) on home soil than Stoke, ensuring that the north Londoners are in for a challenging afternoon.

Despite mustering an unremarkable 49 attempts across the last four Gameweeks, Arsenal made their possession count with the most big chances (11) and the joint-fourth-most shots on target (18). On the flip side, only Sunderland and Watford (both four) shipped more goals than Arsene Wenger’s charges, who also served up the third-most shots inside the box (38). Mark Hughes’ side will take heart from the fact that the Gunners’ rearguard was breached on seven occasions in their previous two away fixtures.

One nil down to arch rivals at home. So bring on Steven Caulker to play as striker.

    Embarrasment of a club.

Manchester United play some absolute garbage football. Just a glorified West Brom. 4 shots on target, 4 goals from them in our last two games. So frustrating as a fan.

That was an awful match I think we can all agree. Liverpool desperately need someone up top, because they would have won that match quite comfortably by two or three if they had.

As for United, if I was a fan I wouldn't be celebrating too much. Yes they have beaten their rivals but after that initial gloating period is over, it was only down to a set piece and apart from that, they are pretty pathetic as a passing, attacking force. You can see why so many fans are demoralised supporting them.

More the manager and his tactics than the players lots of good players there when he leaves things will improve
