    A lot of hindsight posts about people being mad to bench Alli but tbf most had a choice of him, Payet or Mahrez so hardly a no brainer

        Benching Alli was not a bad move despite the stats. Payet played a fantastic game and Mahrez is always threatening.

          Mahrez isnt always threatening. Consider his stats compared to Allis. Then consider Stokes to CPL`s and Tottenhams to Leicester for the last 4 gwks. Im sorry, but you made a mistake. Which is fine, we all make them.

        I think if you had Kane then benching Alli was a reasonable move but without Kane you definitely should have been playing him. I had Kane and was v close to playing him over Payet but looking at how Payet played in that game he easily could have got a goal and/or assist so I still think my decision to bench Alli was probably correct.

      If your back five were the following;

      Dawson (SWA)
      Dier (nor)
      Kos (SOU)
      Simpson (LIV) - bench.
      Cresswell (AVL)

      As all 5 are great options next week (only Simpson on bench so far)

      Would you get rid of Kos for for Targett ? This is only way I can get in lukaku

        Bench Dier. Always prefer the home options when it's close fixture wise. Plus Norwich did score 4 albeit against a terrible defence and Spurs are always letting in the 1 goal per game.

          I can't see many clean sheets from LEI. I think they have been a bit lucky but for 4.1 Simpson seems good value. I personally will be getting Targett & B J. Play for better team. They are a risk though. Based on 3 clean sheets in a row I can't see Targett getting dropped and LVG said he can see B J getting a run of games now. This was BEFORE Darmian injury.
