    How good is Alli in terms of FPL potential?

    I don't watch Spurs (and won't have the time to anytime soon) and the only memories I have of Alli are from those pivot days I saw in preseason. Seemed like a good player but not someone I'd start over Payet, Mahrez. Which is why I got him, someone I can happily bench as my 5th MF but can do a job if I take him in due to his stats/form.

    I had this same thing with Ramsey in 2012/13, I held off him because all I thought was that "he's a pivot MF" and never really saw how he bombs forward.

        OMG!!!! Dayam that's what 3 volleys I have heard this season. Where's he playing? CAM? I guess Eriksen is LW since Dier and Dembele start as well.

        I'll need to see some highlights of this guy, maybe can start him over Payet/KdB. Payet's blank yesterday was a major disappointment.

            Then who? Mahrez is playing every game from my side. I want to say at the end of the season, "I scored xxxx points with Mahrez starting every game since GW1". 😛

            KdB is probably being shipped for an expensive MF who'll be impossible for bench, and Ozil isn't being benched too.

    Morning DZ,

    What's your plan for Mahrez over the next 3 (LIV, mcy, ars)?

    A) keep and play
    B) keep and bench
    C) ditch

    I'm quite tempted with C since I have a weak 5th mid, although I will likely want Mahrez back after those 3 weeks given LEI's fixtures, so I guess the question is how much value will we lose and will it be worth it?

    I'm eyeing up Sanchez (SOU, bou, LEI) as a replacement (depending on today's showing) and would be selling Mahrez for 6.4, which currently represents a 0.7m loss. This feels quite high, although I expect it might drop by 0.2 - 0.3 or so by GW27, which is more manageable.

    The other option is B) and swapping Surman -> Firminho

    Thoughts?

        ..the last salt in my open bleeding KdB wound was when my ml leader who was keeping up with me with his Arnie vs my KdB was when I noticed he is getting Alli from his bench after the Arnie no show yesterday. 👿
