Our first members article of the weeks delves into the Gameweek 23 data this evening. Tottenham’s in-form midfielders catch the eye, whilst he also assess the recent displays of City and Liverpool’s weekend goal heroes before analysing the recent decline of Arsenal’s playmaker and Everton’s lone frontman.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    My front 8 is...

    Mahrez - Ozil - Sanchez - Payet - Alli
    Lukaku - Kane - Aguero

Should I do Ozil to Firmino for a -4?

If Liverpool draw vs West Ham or Everton draw vs Carlisle this weekend then the chance of a DGW before the GW 27 blank drops to like 5%

A Liverpool draw is more damaging than an Everton draw. Everton might be able to move their FA Cup replay to GW 26, Liverpool are playing in Europe in that midweek.

So I have read all the DGW posts and that excellent spreadsheet. Good work guys.

So while for this week Koscielny and Vardy to Kane and Bennett with my 2ft may seem wise.. Wasting 2 FT prior to a DGW is madness.. right?

not expecting much - the ward transfer has been an unmitigated disaster

at least they shouldn't be tonked tho

@ Perchinho: I am looking your dgw tracker. If EVE or LIV (or MCI) have to play replays in the FA cup, than in GW25 they will not have DGW?

      Who would you prefer?
A - Migs (for the dgw)
      B - Butland (Sgw)
      Thanks.

Just hoping. Make sure you have a keeper for a DGW so you can hide a total of four DGW players if the blank comes before the DGW...a couple of FT's will then bump you up.

Always good to look at the why. Anyone can quote stats until they're blue in the face, but sometimes stats can be very misleading.

If City wins the tie tomorrow and a dgw involving all 4 teams takes place as anticipated after the blank gw27 I'm not going to be able to stop myself from wildcarding a week before to get 3 x Man city/3 x Liverpool/ 3 x Everton/ 2 x Newcastle players and use my bench boost!! Will leave me with an unbalanced team but F... it!

I would prefer to play triple captain, then wildcard GW36 for a GW37 DGW and bench boost. You then have only one week with a wrecked team and GW38 is a lottery anyway..

The fact that the Liverpool - Everton league game is scheduled for TV might have an effect on the likelihood of it getting moved to an earlier date?

Wouldn't have thought so personally - BT Sport/BBC may not like it though as would probably clash with one of their live replays, but that'd just be tough titties.

I'm not certain but I think Trimm could be on to something. Pretty sure there's an agreement that British broadcasters won't show matches at the same time.
