Recorded minutes after the whistle blew on a miserable midweek under lights, we had no choice but to fantasise about Chips and Double Gameweeks to get us through this latest ScoutCast episode.

I’m joined by Jonty, Andy and Luke as we lament our sub 40-point tallies, moving on swiftly to lose ourselves in the thrilling, Wonka-like nonsense that lies ahead thanks to the bizarre Bench Boost FPL chip.

We come back down to earth to answer another bout of community questions, assessing the merits of City’s assets through their fluctuating form, the Payet problem and even end by revealing our modest rank expectations for the rest of the season.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first aired live via our YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe in order to get a heads up on new episodes.

You can view the full Google Hangout version via the bigger player below, or bask in the edited audio cut via this link or the smaller player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

koscielny is back for wba and ospina is good gk. there is a good chance for arsenal to finish FA cup against hull. thinking about leaving kosc in a squad and than if arsenal is out of FA there is advantage.

Well, I guess Andre Ayew must be the obvious Swansea midfield choice? Plays more advanced and has more points per game than Sigurdsson? I even consider giving him the armband, now that City's form are beyond hopeless.

Things that would help make my weekend splendid:

    - Funes Mori benched

    What to do here..

    - Play 1 of Bellerin, Cresswell, Simpson.. If so, who?

    or

    - Use AOA and bench all 3, starting both Alli and Arnie (Also can't decide who to bench out of these two if not)

2 FTs is more like curse than blessing.

Siggy or Silva in or both, Kompany or Otamendi instead of Silva/Siggy. Who to sell Arnie or Payet.

My head explodes and can't log in to London metal exchange ffs so can't work atm.

    1. Shifty
      • 12 Years

Personally havent seen anything of Silva to consider him - but if you expect a mauling of Aston Villa and Aguero(c) won't be enough a differential...why not.

Sigurdsson has good fixtures on his side with decent form.

I'm in the same boat with 2FT. I think Siggy has got to be one. I wouldn't sell Payet this week. I think Hart is a good option this week and prepares for a DGW soon.

People saying no way that Aguero, Silva etc will be rested because they have seven days until next GW.

That's not the issue, it's the fact that they looked shagged vs Liverpool and couple days later expected to go again.

If there's one game they could be rested it's vs Villa. Not saying they will be certainly not a shoe in.

they are already half foot into next round of UCL

also the redzone stuff...personally won't be surprised if Iheanacho is given a run out against Richards/Lescott who I expect will give Aguero a hard time but might not deal well with Iheanacho's pace and unpredictable element.
