In spite of a five-match Gameweek, thereโ€™s still plenty to pore over in our first membersโ€™ article of the week. We cast an eye over Cityโ€™s troubles on the road, Bournemouthโ€™s upturn in output, Marko Arnautovicโ€™s home comforts and the contrasting fortunes of Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy up front in recent matches.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

What does Firmino, Antonio, Lennon, Lallana, Gardner, Arnautovic, Payet and Joshua King have in common apart from obviously being FPL midfielders?

Impressive. And this leads them to having something else in common too.

They all have better Form than Sigurdsson.

2 goals in 2 and 19 points seems like pretty decent form for Siggy.

Factor in his fixture home to Villa and I'm failing to see your point here.

Not as exciting as a RM-WC-DGW-BB-T unfortunately but could really use some help with transfers for next week. Planning to WC in GW33 so only thinking as far ahead as that ๐Ÿ™‚

    Fabianski (AVL), Henessey (LEI)

Alderweireld (BOU), Huth (cry), Kompany**, VVD (LIV), Smith (tot)

Mahrez (cry), Sanchez (eve), Siggy (AVL), Willian (WHU), Alli (BOU)

Kun (MUN), Kane (BOU), Vardy (cry)

2FTs, but only 0.1 in the bank so need to free up some cash!

Need to shift Kompany but unsure what to go for..
    A) West Brom defender (NOR, sun)
    B) PVA (new, WBA)
    C) Stoke defender (wat, SWA)

With the other FT, I'm unsure of whether to:
    1) Shift VVD
    2) Bring in Payet, but unsure of who to get rid of, as I want to keep Willian for villa game
    3) Bring in Firmino, but same problem as above
    4) Sanchez > Ozil
    5) Save FT

    Help much appreciated ๐Ÿ™‚

    Currently...
    Butland McCarthy
    Jagielka Aldy Huth Williams Bellerin
    Silva siggy Mahrez Alli lingard
    Kane Aguero vardy

    2 FTs. 5.5itb

Five double GW players with hit free potential of five more
However all i fancy this week is silva to ozil!

I think therefore I need to WC in 33. Just a case of do I tc or bb in 34
Any views welcome on route to take! Thanks

If you WC in GW33 it frees up options for the next couple of weeks, and maybe even take a couple of punts!
Maybe use 1FT this week and do Silva > Ozil, and then get one or two Chelsea players in for the villa game?

Not a bad shout. Wc33 with bb34 seems most obvious but then tc ozil you can guarantee he will get 180 mins whereas in gw37 no guarantees and tc seems more valuable chip

Yeah that's very true, although I'm hoping that in DGW37 one of Lukaku/Payet/Ozil/Firmino's teams still have something to play for. Liverpool/West Ham might be in contention for Top4, Arsenal might get dragged back into top4 race or be back in contention for the title. No guarantees though you're right.

Hey guys, does anyone else think TC in gw34, WC in 36, BB in 37 is the best way to go?

Don't have to lose LEI and TOT players for their good fixtures and can TC Arsenal player in gw 34 with good fixtures instead of using BB.

Same front 8 I was planning for with the exception of Mahrez for Antonio. Now I'm thinking of downgrading Sturridge to Martial and upgrading Lingard to Milner since Sturridge is unlikely to play both games.

Just messing around, trying to see what is the most expensive attack possible I can come up with for GW34. This is what I came up with:

    -----------------------Robles | Hennessey
    Bellerín | Sakho | Cathcart | McAuley | Simpson
    ----Sanchez | Firmino | Payet | Mahrez | Özil
    ------------Agüero | Sturridge | Lukaku

I needed a 3.9m defender before I found an extra 0.1m. This wouldn't actually work as it doesn't give me a GW35 keeper (unless they rearrange the Everton v Palace game for midweek). I was mainly playing around to see how much I could field up field. ๐Ÿ™‚

    2. Aim for WC- GW 33 or GW 37
    I guess they are related.

    Schmeichel, Butland
    Toby, Komp, Williams, Fran, Fonte
    Eriksen, Siggy, Mahrez, Payet, Stan
    Aguero, Vardy, Kane

My 1st WC GW33 Draft, be as critical & opinionated as possible!

    Robles, Mignolet

    Koscielny, Jagielka, Moreno, Rojo, Saylor
    Payet, Ozil, Mahrez, Firmino, Yaya
    Kun, Kane, Ighalo

    0.1 ITB

13 DGW players for GW34, will only need 1 transfer to field 11 in GW35, and will have 8 DGW 37 players, though I may need to sell one to field my 11 in GW35

After looking closely at my team I don't think I can have a viable GW34 side without a WC. With only 6DGWers where one is Kompany and two are GKers the 4FT's won't be enough to get 11DGWers for GW34. It seems I'll have to do the same thing as everyone else ๐Ÿ™

You would still want to hold on to maybe Vahrez plus a spurs player anyway, always the option for a -4. Your'e not really to far away.

I'd prefer to consider the perfect scenario of 15 DGW34 players, 11 blank GW35 players and 11 DGW37 players without hits

I was exploring alternative options but it required me to have 11DGWers with no hits for GW34 using just FT's. Alas my current team doesn't allow for this possibility

Surprised at such a quick u turn tbh if you believed the 37 doubles a viable option then why let a hit or two put you off?.. you have taken quite a few this season

I only just took a look at the state of my team now and its not ideal. If it were ideal then I'd be very keen on the alternative plan.

I don't mind hits but I prefer not to take them if I can help it. When comparing the two options for myself using my current team it makes more sense to WC33 BB34 than it does to do it in GW36/37. It'd save me 8-12pts in hits

You don't necessarily need 11, 10 good ones would be good enough with Mahrez who could outscore a DGWer.

Thats true. I could explore that option a little more. Eg is Mahrez SGW better than Milner's DGW etc. The answer of course is yes but it depends on the make up of the side and surely an ambitious WCer could do a little better than Milner in place of Mahrez.

2FT, 2.4m ITB. I kinda have to WC for GW33 so what are some short term moves with this team?

    Elliot (Hennessey)
    Toby Wollscheid Simpson (Kompany VVD)
    Ozil Ali Mahrez Siggy (Payet)
    Aguero Kane Vardy

    Which move?
    (A) Kompany to Williams
    (B) Elliot/Hennessey to Fabianski/Hart/other
    (C) Both A and B.

Evening. In thinking about the two main chips, isn't TC much more important than bench boost to get right? The range of outcomes is so much wider, IMO.

Taking anywhere from an apocalyptic hamstring injury to a massive haul into account, TC could be anywhere from 3-60, while bench boost is probably anywhere from 5-40. Does that sound about right?

Wish I've used my TC for Kun vs Villa, just like my ML did. Or Kane vs Villa recently. Now I don;t know if any other player is going to be as good enough.

Not my question. I am trying to assess the risks and rewards of each chip in comparison to what others might be able to do as well. If you triple Benteke and he explodes, while I triple Aguero and he is hamstrung, that difference is likely far bigger than our benches.
