    63 points behind the leader with 6 GWs to go.

    Although the guy in 2nd place is the 'real' leader with all his chips still available. Looks likely he may win this whole thing. He has been pretty consistent so far.

                  I ban players that I really don't like, and that season he was on my list.
                  I have to admit it was quite tough seeing him rack up so many pts (especially with so many using the C on him!), but I somehow managed to stay in a reasonable OR, and then had a strong finish to the year to sneak into 797 at the end.

                  Didn't spot your article until a while afterwards, but was good to know I was the only one crazy enough to do such a thing in the top 1000!

                    Yeah, Suarez' form dropped during the final part of the season but everybody sticked to him out of fear having seen what he could do. Having him on a ban list during that period was good in hindsight 🙂 Navigating through mid-season when he had that series of 15-22 pointers and everybody had him as captain without falling too much was next to impossible, I think most teams who didn't have him during that spell just gave up and turned into ghost ships.

                      Yeah I guess - I don't cheat the ban-list, so if a player is on it, then they're simply not an option. (Sometimes picking a striker can be difficult when you don't allow yourself the option of Rooney, Costa, Giroud, Suarez...I'm sure people think I'm crazy with this!)
                      I think Sturridge did okay for me, and I know I got on the Yaya & Ramsey train early, which helped. Plus I think I had Seamus Coleman from the off that year.
                      Still don't quite know how I did it though!

        And what would be the general concensus for GW34 - Robles or Mignolet?

            Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Just took the plunge on the WC. Plan is to spend 4 points for GW34 to swap Lennon and Hennessey/Robles for Lanzini and Mignolet. Have spent ages poring over this and I think it's the best way to have 11 in GW35. Hopefully the returns will outweight the hit.

          Hennessey's fixtures look great GW33 but it's hard to know whether Norwich is going to be a nervy 0-0 or crazy like the newcastle game

            To be honest neither is a great shout defensively. Don't trust either. It's a question of who is less likely to score - Norwich away or Watford at home. Watford can't buy a girl whereas Norwich have got the bit between their teeth.

            Who's the best mid to have? I've currently got Lennon but palace seem to be finding some form again.
