All eyes will be on Old Trafford from two o’clock as Manchester United endeavour to prevent Leicester City from securing the title. The Red Devils have won four of their previous five matches and still harbour aspirations of snatching a top-four berth, while the Foxes require a solitary victory in their remaining trio of fixtures to claim the crown.

Man United were far from a dominant attacking force during their last four outings, ranking joint-tenth for goals (four), joint-fourth-bottom for attempts (44) and fifth-bottom for shots inside the box. That being said, Louis van Gaal’s outfit chart top for clean sheets (12) and bottom for goals conceded (seven) in home encounters, so a solitary strike could well be enough to earn their fourth 1-0 win in five showdowns at Old Trafford.

Aside from notching nine goals in their previous four match-ups, Leicester also tallied five more big chances (16) than any other team. Investors in Man United’s rearguard might be concerned that only Arsenal have amassed more goals in road clashes than Claudio Ranieri’s troupe (32 to 31), while no team has racked up more big chances (46). The Red Devils certainly have their work cut out trying to breach a defence that places bottom for goals conceded (eight) since Gameweek 19.

    Just seen this on Twitter:

Klopp—"I spoke to Daniel at HT and he wanted to play the ninety. We have 4 days until Thursday, it's good". Sturridge to start v Villarreal?

Best Liverpool midfielder for the DGW presuming Firmino, Milner, Coutinho and Sturridge all play on Thursday?

I'm thinking Firmino, because Sturridge might get a rest against Watford, putting him up top OOP. And surely he'll play against Chelsea being such a big game.

Forgetting about benteke. I believe Firmino will play both games anyway, see who plays 60mins v Villarreal.

I agree. Numerous replays show a fifty fifty grappling. Lindgard needed to be faster or just able to get to the second touch before Simpson for that to be a pull down from behind. Ultimately, lindgard didn't do much of anything with a great opportunity.

it can still happen for spurs as hard as it may sound...

for lei quite reasonable they could tie next 2. obviusly evertn is the big if.
if tot wins next 2, theyd be separated by 3 pts.

if last game lei looses and tot wins they both end w/ 78.

and then goal difference favors Spurs

    lei 76: mnu - EVE - che
    tot 69: che - SOU - new
