After a stilted stalemate at the Hawthorns, it’s fair to say that we’re looking forward to some fireworks from the tea-time kick-off.

Manchester City host West Ham United at the Etihad as they bid to keep pace with Manchester United and Chelsea and make it three wins from three.

Pep Guardiola makes two changes, introducing Gael Clichy at left-back for Aleks Kolarov and handing a start to Nolito at the expense of Jesus Navas.

The Hammers are again without Dimitri Payet, with his absence surely set to lead to another mass exodus in FPL terms.

Slaven Bilic has changed shape in a bid to repeat last season’s victory in Manchester, recalling Angelo Ogbonna to a three-man rearguard.

Former Manchester United starlet, Ashley Fletcher, makes his first Premier League start up front in a 3-5-2 setup. Sam Bryam drops to the bench, whilst Håvard Nordtveit misses out through injury. Manuel Lanzini is fit enough for the bench.

All eyes will be Sergio Aguero – he heads into this encounter backed with the captaincy by 32% of FPL managers, just 1% less than Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who stalled with a two-point return at Hull on Saturday.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

WC will come together nicely. One of my choices will be 3-5-2 vs. 3-4-3.

So, who do you like more:

    A) Antonio (who I was liking even before today)

    B) Rondon

What's the hit limit before wildcarding? Looking at a -12....(2FT ITB)

OUT: Schmeichel, Redmond, gaston, Deulofeu and Vardy

IN: Heaton, Sanchez, Fer, Sterling, Diomande (to rotate with Capoue)

I'm hoping the FA factors that quietly into their decision in terms of commercial aspect and decided not to ban him 😉

Let's say Aguero takes a three game ban, who would bring in and would you keep the cash to bring him back on his return?

I'd be tempted by doubling Costa up with Hazard.

Shearer makes very good point - ref was only 10 yards away staring right at it, if he says I didn't see it, the ref panel will ask why, so he might say I saw it and deemed it not worth action.

So, the ref saw the incident clearly from 10 yards out.

Alan Shearer thinks that there's no chance of a ban.

        Not yet.

But, I'm sure he will if and when the FA ask him. The incident happened clearly in front of him.

        1. Champione
          • 10 Years
          9 years, 7 months ago

But the ref would make a fool out of himself if he says he saw it. It was clearly a red card and he definetely should have taken action if he saw the incident

Looks a bit cheeky on Reid's part to me. Not a lot of contact and Reid was trying to work out which part of his face he should clutch to try and con the referee. Ban for Reid, I say!

I have 2fts....so my plan is to take a hit for next game week and then wildcard to get Kun back in....

Interesting one of his 3 games ban would be league cup match....therefore only 2 league games...

I began the season with no Ibra or Aguero, thinking I was clever. Instantly regretting. Began creating drafts with one/both in it. Now I'm thinking about having none again. I'm going insane.
