Dimitri Payet looks poised for his first start of the season, according to Slaven Bilic. Tottenham’s Danny Rose is sidelined with a hamstring problem, Alex Iwobi is available for Arsenal, whilst Swansea’s record signing has a chance of making Sunday’s match with Chelsea.

Slaven Bilic confirmed he is looking to hand Dimitri Payet his first start of the season after the playmaker stepped up his fitness with a couple of sub appearances for France over the international break. Manuel Lanzini is now fully fit, whilst Sofiane Feghouli is back in full training and available for the Hammers.

George Friend, Victor Valdes and Martin de Roon have all recovered from injury in time to host Palace tomorrow. Fabio, James Husband and Grant Leadbitter remain sidelined, whilst Gaston Ramirez and Christhian Stuani will be assessed after arriving back late from internationals.

Hugo Lloris is available for Spurs’ trip to Stoke after recovering from a hamstring problem. Danny Rose is ruled out with a similar complaint and Mousa Dembele serves the last of a six-match suspension.

Kasper Schmeichel has recovered from minor hernia surgery ahead of Leicester’s trip to Liverpool. New boy Islam Slimani could be in line for a debut, though Nampalys Mendy and Jeffrey Schlupp are still sidelined through injury.

Alex Iwobi is back in the Arsenal squad after recovering from injury, whilst Alexis Sanchez and David Ospina will be assessed after arriving back late from internationals.

Seamus Coleman is back in contention for Everton’s trio to Sunderland after turning out for Republic of Ireland over the international break. James McCarthy is set for a spell on the sidelines after undergoing groin surgery and is joined on the sidelines by Darron Gibson. Tom Cleverley is expected to resume training on Saturday ahead of Monday’s match.

Fraser Forster has recovered from an arm injury as Southampton head to the Emirates. Ryan Bertrand could be in line for a first start, though new boy Sofiane Boufal is expected to take up to one month before reaching full fitness after undergoing knee surgery back in April.

Francesco Guidolin is hopeful he can include Swansea’s record signing Borja Baston on the bench as he steps up his match fitness. Neil Taylor will be pushing for a first start after improving his sharpness with a run out for Wales over the break.

Sadio Mane is available for Liverpool’s clash with Leicester after his midweek withdrawal whilst on duty for Senegal. Emre Can, Sheyi Ojo and Ragnar Klavan are sidelined though injury, though keeper Loris Karius has recovered quickly from a hand problem.

Eddie Howe was reluctant to confirm whether Jack Wilshere will make his first start for Bournemouth this weekend after arriving on loan from Arsenal. Josh King is a doubt for the Cherries’ clash with West Brom, though – he picked up a hamstring problem on international duties with Norway and has failed to train since.

Xherdan Shaqiri has failed to recover from a calf complaint and will miss Stoke’s home match with Spurs. Glenn Johnson is back in training and expected to be available, though Jack Butland is out for up to 10 weeks after undergoing ankle surgery Ramadan Sobhi and Geoff Cameron made a late return from international duties and will be assessed. Mame Biram Diouf is almost certain to miss out with a hamstring issue sustained for Senegal over the break.

Palace frontman Loic Remy has been ruled out for “seven to eight weeks” with a thigh injury.Midfield pair Yohan Cabaye and James McArthur are “touch and go”, according to Alan Pardew.

    Hi chaps,

Can anyone tell me what their experiences have been like making last minute changes before the GW deadline, say within the last 1 hour?

I recall that GW1 was a nightmare. Hoping it was a one off

    I have 2ft and this team…

    De gea

    Fiend – Shaw – McAuley
    Tadic – Hazard – Deulofeu – Mane
    Aguero – Vardy – Diomande

    Jaku – Kone – Capoue – Amat

With Tadic and Deuofeu looking almost certain to drop and Aguero a possibility if everyone else ships tonight…do you prefer?

A Aguero and Deu to Benteke and Nolito
B Deu and Tadic to Nolito and Lamela

    Or any other combination?

Hey guys, could I have some thoughts on this WC team???
    Foster (Jakupovic)
    Baines, Masuaku, PVA (Evans, Robertson)
    Hazard, Barkley, Cazorla, Antonio (Capoue)
    Ibra, Costa, Lukaku

0mil itb. Plan in GW 6 is to go Costa/Lukaku and Ibra to Hernandez (rotates very well with Capoue) and Aguero, which should leave me enough cash to get Payet/Ozil for Antonio/Cazorla/Barkley in the GW afterwards. Thoughts??

    Two questions in the round...

    1) Heaton (HUL) or Foster (bou) ?
    2) Which one to captain: Özil, Hazard, Costa or Ibra ?

    Rest of the Team:

    Answer to Question 1)
    Terry, Shaw, Friend
    Özil, Barkley, Hazard, Lamela
    Costa, Ibra, Gray

    Afternoon all. 🙂

    Anyone captaining Lukaku?

Was all set on him but Kirchoff coming back and Denayer and Kone now in defense for Sunderland, I'm not sure. Would have gone for him if it was still McNair and o'shea.

Hazard the best bet or gamble with Sanchez?

Personally I would downgrade One of your main 4 defenders mate. Your midfield looks pretty weak bar Hazard and I would get in a big hitting striker to replace one of your current ones.

I reckon it's wild card time!

I've got Friend from Boro, only 4.5m and will be a regular for Them now he's fully fit.

i would sacrifice Azpi out of the 4 bud.

There's a lot of questions need answering about line ups & who is benched now the transfers are all done.

Playing the WC now might get you +10 points this week but you likely end up with GW3 flavour of the day squad that needs a bunch of changes next week and the week after.

Long is the only one really needs to go if you have na FT left.
Townsend has been mass shipped out but is a ? how he does with Benteke.

I'd suggest gritting teeth and holding it for next week.

Given the Sanchez debate, does it not seem a good shout to downgrade Sanch/Ozil to Cazorla and upgrade a Snoddy type player to Nolito? Reading that Nolito is most likely going to be played in the false 9.

    Heaton / Robinson
Baines / Van Aanholt / Evans / Amat / Love
Hazard / Antonio / Cazorla / Nolito / De Roon
    Lukaku / Ibra / Costa

    Thoughts?

Just looked at some stats - have the same dilemma - Ibra vs Haz.

Hazrad has not scored against Swansea over the last 2 seasons, even though Chelsea won 4-2 and 5-0 (don't remember if he played just looking at goal stats). He has also not scored more than one goal in a single PL game in his strong season - 2014/2015. He did it once last season vs Bournemouth.

Zlatan on the other hand, scored more than one goal in 12 league games last season. Fair enough - it's the french league - but still.

Also Manchester derbies have had high scores. Ignoring the last 3 games (I know...) average goals per game for the previous 6 games is four.

      I am going Zlatan!

Me too. I'm planning to put Ozil in when Aguero is back. Surprised with my decision to go for Sanchez to be honest, I guess I was thinking that he'll score more in these next two games than Ozil. Could bite me in the ass.
