A busy Sunday of football comes to its conclusion at White Hart Lane as Spurs and Sunderland go head-to-head in the 4.30pm kick-off.

The hosts’ 4-0 win over Stoke last weekend boosted out faith in the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli, yet their midweek Champions League loss to Monaco at Wembley suggests Mauricio Pochettino’s side have yet to hit top gear.

Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela owners are left cursing their luck after the duo were named amongst the subs, with Mousa Dembele returning to the XI following a six-match suspension.

Certainly, the home side will be buoyed by their visitors’ second-half capitulation at home to Everton on Monday night.

The Black Cats have yet to win under David Moyes and, considering their current form, may well be lucky to avoid a repeat of the 4-1 reverse in the corresponding fixture last season.

Anyone else feel Capoue is a viable option short term 4th mid but think Snodgrass will do better and leaves you with better team balance?

Mid up to 8.5mil, thinking about Firmino, Coutino or some other? No ARS or CHE cover. Why so much love for Firm and no love for Cou is Firm better? Thanks

I am thinking about having him for a long time since the fixtures are good so maybe Firmino is better option. My mid would be
        Sterling Firm Anton Snod Capue

Goals. Coutinho drops deep and makes great hockey assists and his finishing is inconsistent. Maybe he'll turn the corner and this will be the year he adds goals but he hasn't proven it yet.

    Sorry for repost but bottomed

    First draft WC team

    Heaton / Jakupovic
    Walker / Shaw / Williams / Friend / Amat
    Sanchez / Firmino / Antonio / Bolasie / Capoue
    Aguero / Lukaku / Benteke

Not sure about defender or having Capoue as 5th mid

I have Capoue as 5th mid but will play him with this good fixtures as 4th, defence looks good, maybe Evans instead od Friend?
I had Shaw and swaped it for Valencia, and like Walker, just cant fit him in for now.

Literally just did that swap to Evans haha. I think I like Shaw enough to keep him but still have a week to decide at least. Also did Benteke > Deeney and now have 0.5 ITB, what do...

I picked Valenica bcs of bp and that side od MU is weaker in terms of crossing so he could get some assist. Good, dont like Benteke but I see many managers have him. Firmino to Mane haha?

    Just -12 mini wildcarded.

    Valencia, Redmond, Hazard, Ibrahimovic >
    Holebas, Sterling, Firmino, Aguero

    -------------------Foster----------------
    ---------Baines Stones Holebas---
    Sanchez Firmino Sterling Antonio
    --------Aguero Lukaku Benteke----
    ------------------------------------------------
    Subs: Pickford Capoue Amat Wilson

    0.3 ITB. Feels good.

    *Off topic*

Anybody play NFL contest on draftkings? Only played a few times and done fairly well but feel I must be clueless compared to the thousands over the pond who apparently play professionally. Considering entering the $20 millionaire maker anyway, am I just going to be dead money?

    Team:

    QB
    E. Manning $7,600
    RB
    D. Williams $7,100
    RB
    T. Yeldon $4,700
    WR
    J. Jones $9,200
    WR
    S. Shepard $5,200
    WR
    M. Wallace $4,700
    TE
    J. Thomas $4,400
    FLEX
    C. Beasley $3,200
    DST
    Panthers $3,900

          $4,000

Must say I don't fully get the 'overpriced' argument in daily fantasy sports compared to FPL. A much cheaper asset can easily outscore a premium one on any given day? I presume it's all about finding the differentials which I prob can't do with my NFL knowledge...

Thing is, both Pickford and Jakupovic are great keepers, playing for team who concede loads of chances but don't usually concede that many goals. Great chances for BAPs, save points and the occasional CS, all for 4mil.

Allows maximum funds on ATT, MID and DEF

    Aguero, Deeney, Firmino

    for -4 is very tempting

    1. Worzel Gummidge

Look below. I have had enough and just removed the players. I would do that easily but I have kept Ozil as can take a drop of 0.1. Ozil to Sanchez next week.

Hey lads, appreciate some feedback on this WC draft. Been a shocking 2 GWs and need to stop the rot.

    Foster Jaku
    Williams Lovren Holebas Friend Amat
    Sanchez Sterling Mane Antonio Capoue
    Aguero Lukaku Deeney

    Questions:
    - Defence too light?
    - Could go Firmino over Mane for some extra coin but Mane always looks more threatening
    - Chadli for short term fixtures, or Antonio for medium term?

Think it all comes down to this :

    A/ Ibra + Snodgrass
    B/ Lukaku + Sterling

Rest of my front 8 is :
    Sanchez, Firmino, Antonio, Capoue
    Kun, Deeney

    What do you think?
