Just three weeks ago we dedicated a ScoutCast to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

We collectively toasted his impact Manchester United and swore that he was set to be a mainstay in our squads and seasons.

Just 21-days later, three of the ScoutCast team have sold him on and another teeters on the edge – Jonty is only really hesitating because a four-point hit is involved.

To be fair, Zlatan’s likely biggest fan is missing for this week’s episode. With Granville nursing man-flu, it’s left to Luke to make a return and step in to join Jonty, Andy and myself as we gang up to round on the big Swede.

We’re clearly not the only one’s guilty of this foolishly fickle approach.

This week’s community questions were dominated by talk of a Zlatan exit, whilst also quizzing us on the rise and potential fall of Etienne Capoue, the potential offered by a switch to 3-5-2 and the merits of Theo Walcott as a Fantasy asset. No, really.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

You can view the full Google Hangout version on the second player below, or opt for the old fashioned audio via this link or the first player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'd be tempted for a week when you maybe only have 2 defenders available (suspension , injury etc) I used my AOA early last season when I didn't have to and there were occasions later in the season I played with 10 or did a hit because there were only 2 defs available

57 minute mark of the Manchester City - Swansea game ... Kun chases a through ball into the right-hand corner and pulls up tenderly grasping his problematic right hamstring. The physio runs out onto the ground and after a few simple tests signals to the gaffer that he's cooked ... Iheanacho takes the jacket off and does a few run-throughs.

Meanwhile .... Ibrahimovic pulls the zipper up on his tracksuit jacket before appearing before the media, alongside legendary manager Jose Mourinho. The first question from the excited press is asked:

"So Zlatan, how does it feel to have scored your first hat-trick for Manchester United, and is it any more special considering it was against the reigning premiers?" ...

Well my heart was saying Ibra, but that's madness considering United's form.

Might settle on KDB, or Coutinho if it looks likely that he'll start against Hull. Kaku's injury just has me a little worried that he'll either come off the bench or get subbed early if they're up.

I've always wondered this. If they invent time travel in the future, which they will eventually, are there people roaming amongst us today sent back to shape the future for the better of the world.

If that's the case, why hasn't "my guy" come and advised who to captain this week ... inconsiderate prat! Or do they really on worry on the big ticket items like stopping the Holocaust and whatnot. In which case, they didn't do a very good job.

    1. Netley Lucas
      • 10 Years
      9 years, 9 months ago

In essence it's counter-intuitive. A price should be protected when the play cannot play. It's a weird FPL market principle that allows the opposite.

As far as I know a lock is a lock and it obviously raises ownership but not prices until the unlock and then % towards 13.1 begins.

Really? I thought Bolasie scored last game (and Lukaku didn't).

Bolasie is quite reliable for attacking points when fit. 12 assists the season before last (2nd only to Fabregas) for example.

Was going to wait until next week to bring back Kun for free. But after much deliberation I think it's better to take a hit (-4) and bring him in now, keeping 2Fts for the international break. So...

Benteke / Hazard / Shaw to
    Aguero / Puncheon / Holebas (0.4itb)

Is this the correct move in your opinion?

With a BUR side expected to sit deep and marking Ighalo & Deeney, I would love to have either Pereyra or Capoue in my side though. And Capoue has been penalising me with his hauls coming from my bench.

Everytime I mention not getting Aguero someone replies with but you'll fall miles behind if he gets a haul. Only way to get him is drop Ibra (same as plenty on here) who is 60% owned and has Leics and Stoke at home. Odd logic then

It's simple ... you won't fall behind if the rest of your squad matches his output respectively. Not having Aguero means you can have the big mids and an extra premium defender ... and that could equal 2-6 points per game week.

I don't have him, and yes I'm a little worried, but if Lukaku, KDB and Sanchez return points this GW then it has paid off.

      ... or ... I might b in the bottom 1/3 of the leagues within 2 GWs 😉

Get both if you can, but Ibra's 60% doesn't matter too much as most are casuals who will lose interest that you'll presumably be ahead of come the end of the season. You can nearly guarantee every serious player will have Aguero this or next week.

              what u like mate
there is no need to get tangled in this
              some go with aguero
              some with I bra
              some with both
there is no logic in this its fanatsy anyone
              can score
even a lineup of janssen benteke and
rashford can have more points than pricey

Yes sir... 2x 4m keepers who are playing gives me a nice rotation of: Palace H, WBA H, stoke A, Stoke H, Arsenal H, Shampton H, Hull H, WBA H.

Lovren seems most nailed CB with Matip and with fixtures of: Hull H, swan A, United H, palace A, Watford H, shampton A, Sunderland H i do like the run of games...

I had to be able to bring in Sanchez- with their run of games: Chelsea H, burnley A, Swan H, Mboro H, sunderland A, Spurs H. This basically meant dropping Zlatan to Rashford to have funds for Sanchez....

Lets hope it doesn't come back to bite me!
