Romelu Lukaku is set to return to full training ahead of Everton’s clash with Bournemouth. Olivier Giroud remains doubtful as Arsenal host Chelsea, whilst Daniel Sturridge is a slight concern for Liverpool’s Anfield encounter with Hull.

Here’s the team news so far…

Olivier Giroud faces a late test on his ongoing toe complaint ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea. Arsene Wenger has also conceded that Aaron Ramsey looks set to remain sidelined until after the international break.

Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum are available for Liverpool’s home match with Hull after both were left out of the midweek trip to Derby as precautionary measures. Jurgen Klopp revealed Daniel Sturridge “should” be available after missing three days’ training, whilst Joe Gomez has stepped up his recovery from injury but is not yet fit for selection.

Xherdan Shaqiri has stepped up his recovery by returning to training ahead of Stoke’s clash with West Brom. Mark Hughes confirmed the Swiss international will be assessed after being sidelined since Gameweek 1. Jon Walters is a doubt for tomorrow after missing the midweek cup loss to Hull due to an ankle problem.

Middlesbrough pair Christhian Stuani and Jordan Rhodes have both recovered from minor injuries and are available to face Spurs at the Riverside.

Kasper Schmeichel has recovered from concussion but remains a minor doubt for Leicester’s trip to United with a muscle problem. Nampalys Mendy and Matty James are still sidelined and Marcin Wasilewski is suspended after being dismissed in the midweek cup loss to Chelsea.

Winston Reid has been passed fit by the West Ham medics ahead of Sunday’s encounter with Southampton.

Scott Dann has been ruled out of Palace’s clash with Sunderland, with Alan Pardew revealing he could also miss the Gameweek 7 encounter against Everton. James Tomkins is available, though, after recovering from the knee problem that forced him off against Stoke on Sunday.

Ronald Koeman expects Romelu Lukaku to return to full training today ahead of Everton’s clash with Bournemouth. The Belgian has stepped up his recovery from the toe injury that forced him off in the home win over ‘Boro. James McCarthy and Darron Gibson should return in around three weeks.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Same dilema... both have a good fixture on paper. So tempted to bench Hazard over them or play AOA chip

      1. Zoostation

I'm going to likely use AOA.

Just done some hefty research on the Firmino v Mane dilemma, and Firmino wins the majority of categories quite comfortably, before you even consider the fact he's 0.6 cheaper.

Over the course of a season, Bobby will do the best, but I still wouldn't be surprised to see Mane go mad against Hull.

Coutinho's stats and price are also pretty tasty.

      1. Bullet Eder
        10 years, 25 days ago

Funny, I hadn't considered him once, but those numbers are impressive. His trait of shooting off target from distance is a little annoying though.

Agreed with all points. Mane more explosive but inconsistent

    3. Rogue Todd

      http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/16621/

I think it's more a gut feeling with people that Mane is going to mental at any moment.

I needed 0.5 on WC and sold Mane for Firmino based on the above table, but really not comfortable with it - firmly expecting it to bite me on the @rse.

    5. Clump
      10 years, 25 days ago

A lot of if comes down to whether you'll captain Mane.

  8. Dr Kenneth Noisewater
    10 years, 25 days ago

Decided to give up Costa for the greater good.

    Heaton - Jaku
    Baines - Stones - Smith - Holebas - Amat
    Sanchez - Firmino - Sterling - Antonio - Capoue
    Agüero - Lukaku - Deeney

Stones v Davies was a toughy, but top 4 team has the edge.

    G2G?

Principally because of Baines' penalty threat. Davies does have some nice fixtures coming and is bossing the BPS in fairness.

      "Muscle fatigue" haha
Didn't realise he was rubbing one out on the pitch.

It wasn't cramp cos he didn't try and get rid of it.
I'd say it was a little strain and he too the precaution of walking off.

Spurs actually have some depth this season.

Davies, Wanyama and Sissoko can easily fill in

        All very poor alternatives, imo.

Good alternatives. They are no match for the originals but that just shows the quality of their first XI not that the alternatives are poor

    this team worthy of WC?

    Foster/Jak
    Stones, Shaw, Collins, Amat, Souare
    Sanchez, Antonio, Lamela, Hazard, Capoue
    Aguero, Lukaku, Gray

WC team would be something like this..

    PICK/Jak
    KOSC, WILLIAMS/LOVREN, HOLEBAS, Collins, Amat
    Sanchez, Antonio, STERLING, FIRMINO,Capoue
    Aguero, Lukaku, DEENEY

Prob Walker rather than Kosc for one GW

    Cheers

Heaton and Pickford imo then you can keep your WBA def - Pick will outlast Jaku as an option imo

Not too much, no. One of my WC varients has Baines, Coleman and Lukaku. They have Man City in a couple of weeks, but could play AOA then.

Hazard to chadli ( keeping only for next 2 GW)
    Iheanacho to Aguero
    Vardy to Janssen
