Burnley and Watford go head-to-head at Turf Moor this evening in the final fixture of Gameweek 6.

For many Fantasy managers, this match will be the first time Etienne Capoue has been afforded a place in their starting XIs after netting four times in the opening five.

Now up to 5.1 in Fantasy Premier League and sitting in 40% of sides, Capoue heads a host of Hornets options looking to catch the eye as the fixtures turn kind for Walter Mazzarri’s men.

The likes of Roberto Pereyra – with attacking points in all three appearances – Odion Ighalo, Troy Deeney and Jose Holebas will also be closely monitored as the fixtures now fall in Watford’s favour.

The hosts are without the suspended Andre Gray for the next four, with Sean Dyche relying on Steven Defour and Sam Vokes – the only other Burnley players to score this season – to breach Mazzarri’s rearguard.

Tom Heaton has earned at least one save point in four of his first five and looks set to be kept busy as the visitors attempt to build on the back of successive wins over West Ham and Man United.

Capoue being rubbish really went under the radar

    1. Pedram
      10 years, 22 days ago

      Holebas rubbishness overshadowed him

      1. gwitbrock
        10 years, 22 days ago

at least Holebas has had a couple of good moments, and still don't know what the yellow card was for which really stunted him early on. Capoue looks like a sunday league player, and so so slow.

      2. gwitbrock
        10 years, 22 days ago

I wonder what odds I'd get on him getting zero more goals this season.

  11. WDT
    10 years, 22 days ago

32 mins away from my theory coming true that Capoue will regress to the mean on account of unsustainable conversion rate. Just trying hard to justify not having him.

Your theory? Its common sense he couldn't keep it up. Plus it's not his conversion rate that was the problem, that was what he was amazing at. It's the amount of chances he was getting.

      1. WDT
        10 years, 22 days ago

His conversion rate was indicative of how few chances he was getting. The emphasis wasn't on the theory being unique or mine, more that I wasn't buying the hype or him.

Obviously Defour is way better and seems to be more promosing on FPL than Capoue, but that feeling.. i wouldnt be surprised if he scores again even though i barely hear his name on the pitch tonight.

A is safest. Proven goalscorer on pens, but terrible team.

B is most explosive, but depends which MUN turn up and whether he gets the requisite minutes.

C is the cheapest, but not convinced with game time and fixtures.
