The Dugout Discussion – Burnley vs Arsenal

Gameweek 7 comes to its conclusion as Burnley welcome Arsenal to Turf Moor.

The Gunners roll up on the back of four straight league wins, with Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott both in fine recent form.

The Chilean teed up Walcott’s pair of strikes in the midweek Champions League win over FC Basel and with three double-figure hauls in four, carries the armband hopes of many at Turf Moor.

Walcott has now notched five times in seven across all competitions and has risen to 6% ownership in Fantasy Premier League.

Another big performance today would surely kick start a bandwagon over the international break, yet Arsene Wenger’s side face an obstinate Clarets rearguard that has conceded just five goals in the previous 17 league matches in front of their own supporters.

If Arsenal scores, it better be Sanchez without any assist. Other than that... Keep it 0-0.

Both could happen, but if Arsenal scores, a Sanchez assist seems more likely

Mustafi BEEN a boss since the La Ligod days. I feel bad he joined Arsenal and still won't win anything.

This seems inconsistent though, Kos always looks lively in the opposition box as well, still a good pick

So few strikers below 7 that's tempting, compared to all the midfield options at least.

For a wide player Walcott doesn't offer much width in games like this. Hiding away isn't any good, needs to ask for the ball

Play 4-5-1 with 2 or more midfielders that play as strikers and get some cheap forwards.
